Hello, I recently shared my ETH wallet address with some Facebook page in order to get some airdrop (I know, stupid thing to do...) anyways, is my ETH wallet now compromised? Should i request a new one from Bittrex? I would really appreciate some solid answers, Thanks

First thing, exchange addresses cannot receive airdrops (if this is related to any tokens from any ICO). If you want, you can use an address from MyEtherWallet. Secondly, no, your address is not compromised. You shared your address but not private key (never do that ever). On what basis are you thinking that it might have been compromised BTW? No need to request an address from Bittrex as it's on their end, you don't hold (possess) the private key of that address. In order to receive any tokens via airdrop that are ERC20, you need an ERC20 compatible wallet and MEW is one of those that supports it, why not use that instead?

I just clicked (somewhere on this site..) on a link for  some airdrop on a new exchange-esex exchange or sth like that, and in order to join the group on facebook, it asked for my ETH address, and just gave it to them. Later i learned that I should never share by wallet address with anyone.  Thanks for your answer

Why is that so?
We all give our ETH wallet "address" in order to get some free tokens through those airdrops. Who told you that sharing your wallet address could get your "address" compromised?
FYI, addresses don't get compromised, wallets do (in case you use your password to login through those sites). Addresses can be compromised, if and only if, you use your private key (possibly on a site that's not secure). Address is a part of a wallet, so if you give your private key, then it is definitely useless for you to keep using the same wallet/address.

I had the same initial thought; as long as your wallet is secured, then no worries. However, I was just worried since I read that I should not use addresses in unknown/new sites etc.  Anyways, thanks for your input man, much appreciated!

you can give out your wallet address but  NOT your private key.

Since you gave your address , you are safe. But your Bittrex wallet will not work as you do not hve the private key to the exchange wallet.
