I just clicked (somewhere on this site..) on a link for some airdrop on a new exchange-esex exchange or sth like that, and in order to join the group on facebook, it asked for my ETH address, and just gave it to them. Later i learned that I should never share by wallet address with anyone. Thanks for your answer
Why is that so?
We all give our ETH wallet "address" in order to get some free tokens through those airdrops. Who told you that sharing your wallet address could get your "address" compromised?
FYI, addresses don't get compromised, wallets do (in case you use your password to login through those sites). Addresses can be compromised, if and only if, you use your private key (possibly on a site that's not secure). Address is a part of a wallet, so if you give your private key, then it is definitely useless for you to keep using the same wallet/address.
