Good afternoon. What role does the Publicly Verifiable Secret Sharing protocol play on your platform? I’ve never heard about it before.
It’s used to confirm that the message was delivered to everyone who’s involved in the Fair Coin Tossing procedure.

Will I be able to know my chances to win jackpot the moment I buy tokens? Or only platform admins are going to know it?

Good afternoon. Why is it so important to generate random numbers on-chain? There’s a lot of third party applications.
In order to avoid the fail of the service due to problems in these apps, as well as to deprive the creators of these apps the ability to affect the operation of the protocol.

Theoretically: have a protocol exchange participant at least virtual opportunity to affect the procedure of determination of a random number?
No, such an option is completely excluded. The fraud is impossible.

What procedures does your protocol carry out to generate random numbers? Was it already used in any other apps?
The procedure is called Fair Coin Tossing. You can find information on it on the page 14 of the WP or on the network.

Hey. Can messages from protocol exchange be read by the final receivers? I hope no, in other case it would damage the transparency.
Of course, not. We do everything possible in order to exclude the possibility of fake results.

Hi there. Does it turn out that anyone can create his own online casino with the help of the Ouroboros protocol and start making profit on it?
Theoretically, you’re right, but you’re unlikely to be able to implement such a project alone. U know, it isn’t as simple as it seems to be at first glance.
Once upon a time i planned to create my own casino, so I have a kind of a prototype already. However, it still needs to be finalized and I'm looking for a “heart” for it.
In that case, u have come to the right place. Ouroboros offers a unique set of tools for creating and maintaining a decentralized online casino.
Oh, thanks for reminding me. I’d also like to learn whether this protocol is compatible with off-chain solutions? When i was starting to create a prototype of my casino, almost nobody knew about blockchain.
What do u mean by off-chain solutions? This protocol is built in such a way that there’s no need to use off-chain solutions.

Hello. Is jackpot given to everyone who bought tokens in a separate round of sales, no matter how many tokens were bought?

No, the tokens from the jackpot are given only to a limited number of randomly selected buyers of each round.

Why is it impossible to use Spade itself to generate random numbers? Why should u use another additional protocol?
It’ll be possible to use Spade to generate random numbers, and the protocol you’re talking about is only a part of Spade.

interestingly there is an online gambling project themed on developing and running a distributed casino application. Sp8de is designed to fit the needs of all actors that comprise an online casino landscape.
We’re really trying to change the current situation in the online gambling business, so we cant do without an integrated approach. Thank u for your support.

How many tokens are going to be spent on project development? I think it should be at least half.

Hello. Are chances to win a jackpot the same at all rounds? I think that pre-ICO participants should have slightly higher chances than the others.
No, the later the round takes place, the more winners there’re.

Are participants that receive lots in jackpot round determined by chance, or is my chance to win depends on the amount of tokens that I’ve bought?

Your chance to win a lot depends on the number of the token, not on the number of tokens that you’ve purchased.

Hi. What is Spade Foundation mission? I hope it’s not going to be one more charity organization.

Good afternoon. Why is the price of a token not rounded to tens? It looks really strange.
Spade aims to conduct ICO in the style of gambling, which makes it a unique project. That’s why numbers familiar to each player are used. They help to strengthen the atmosphere.

Good afternoon. Are u planning to hold any gambling contests in which your protocol will be used? It would help to heighten the interest to Spade.
