Where is all the Network Hashing power coming from?  I just looked through all the pools I could find and I only see about 10% of the Network Hashing power (135KH total vs about 16KH from pools)... guess solo guys are crushing it....?

It's probable, I just don't understand what I think I'm seeing...

Ok so I was missing this pool in my earlier comment but I'm still confused ... how can this pool have like 4 times more hashing than the overall network (unless that's an overall average)?

The "Network Hashrate" is an average over the diffcutly window, which is many hours.

The real network hashrate is basically identical to the hashrate of this pool, because the pool does nearly 100% of all blocks.

Isnt that a 51% violation???  (Dont get me wrong, I love the pool and am hashing for it like crazy but still...just asking)

It's not a "violation" in the sense that there's a rule against it.  However, if abused, a pool could potentially perform 51% attacks.

If people are concerned about it, they can elect to use different pools.

Sometimes this scenario is short-lived, where someone will drop a lot of hashrate (nicehash, bot-hash) on a pool for a period of time, creating this >51% scenario, but then it resolves later when that miner stops.

OK, that makes sense... thanks!

I really really want to really like this project.
  • Site looks good
  • Minable
  • Wallet mining is cool

I have a channel where Ive put out a few videos on mining and I was all geared up to do one for this coin... but MAN the 5 coin reward thing is just a killer without knowing what the price may be...

Being that stocks exchange has only traded at like 9cents each and I only have the ability to get like 2ISH a day... I sadly have to keep looking for something better.   If the reward was different, I'd probably be singing your praises with all I had in me... even if the price isnt great, knowing that you can get a few coins just feels better than 1 or 2 a day.

That's all, I'll check back to see if things have changed later.

We're very excited to announce the launch of the official pool BitcoiNote Pool! Cheesy

The official can be found at pool.bitcoinote.org.

The pool is supported by the BitcoiNote developers. Because of that, we can ensure the highest reliability.
We also offer a very low fee for this pool; just 0.5%.

Start mining today and please reach out to the community if you have any questions or suggestions.

Stay tuned for more BitcoiNote updates.

http://cryptoknight.cc/ Network Hash Rate: 25.86 KH/sec, Pool Hash Rate: 873.34 KH/sec
https://pool.bitcoinote.org/#  Network Hash Rate: 38.94 KH/sec Pool Hash Rate: 96.95 KH/sec

Why? Is Network un stable?
Because at same time give different Network Hashrate.
Pool Hashrate also always Higher than Network Hasrate. Are you sure?
Please check 2 or 3 mining Pool.

This make Cryptonight Calculator Miss and Make Highest Earning on Cryptonight Mining!!! Also will make Estimate Earning on Pool Completely wrong and very Dangerous for Miner!

I have added Bitcoinote on https://cryptoisme.com

Can there be changes in the future, for example, that the fee will be higher? Since there have already been similar cases.

Thanks. Now hashrate looks OK. Example from Official Mining Pool: Network Hash Rate: 213.92 KH/sec, Pool Hash Rate: 34.90 KH/sec

But I think found another problem with Found Block:
Netwok Hash Rate: 213.92 KH/sec
Block Found: about an hour ago

Pool Hash Rate: 34.92 KH/sec
Block Found: 21 minutes ago

Note: I'm fans of Cryptonote Coin and want this coin better.

I think BitcoiNote has problem  with Nice Hash Attack. And network very Unstable.

All Network Hash Rate: 104.02 KH/sec

pool.bitcoinote.org Hash Rate: 146.39 KH/sec and at same time Cryptoknight.cc Hash Rate: 136.58 KH/sec

Dev where are you?

Is there any developer here? There is a way out of this, and there is a chance to not only make it better, but to be the first to adopt CryptoNightV7

For Cryptonote coins there is only one possible future: Die in the hand of nicehash or adopt to the situation. It's darwinism.
