Thats very possible xrp is created for the centralized banks, many investors will come to XRP than in other coins.

Ripple is not a full decentralized blockchain (like Bitcoin or Ethereum) so it will not fit all use cases.

There are also some doubts on the real utility of the XRP token

Yes, this also will be a bubble as we sow in bitcoin in last few weeks. I think involvement of some banks is a major reason for this. With this more reliability is building up with ripple.

I think Ripple has great potential as banks need to integrate and coexist with modern cryptoworld.
For banks Ripple Network is good solution. For people too.

So thx to ripple bank and decentrslized networks can co-exist.

Maybe,if the banks accepted it as their main cryptocurrency we cant say that it will replace BTC,but it has a chance.

Cut out with the crap.

Ripple is more decentralized than Bitcoin or Ethereum

I heard information that ripple (XRP) is used in Japanese-Korean cooperation project. In addition, there are games that use it as well. If this is true, I think it's very reasonable that the coin ripple (XRP) price soared.

Evryone known what xrp in the last year ( something like 30000% ). The ripple project is workin' like future bank. In Your opinion is possibile for Ripple become the new global currency for the world?
I think it will be very difficult to realize especially to be the world's currency because altcoin is just altcoin, it will depend on the world community.

no, i dont agree. this is true ripple is just a company and xrp is digital currency but thats not mean xrp is the future coin. Xrp is really a good currency for buying and holding, recently its cross 2$. so its good currency not future coin.

Does not matter, most of people are here for the gains, if they see that ripple is on the rise they might pump the coin even harder

No one involved in decentralized cryptocurrency believes ripple has a place in this sphere. Does ripple have a place in the mind of the elite central banks? I doubt it.

Don't be sucked into the current pump. Look here at the historical snapshot of ripple on December 25, 2016.

https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20161225/

And compare to today.

https://coinmarketcap.com/

Then do the math and understand that the company controlling ripple released another 2,735,548,365 coins into circulation this past year. That means likely they are cash rich in the amounts of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Interestingly, just as they were about to be moved into oblivion cryptocurrency wise, it seems those hundreds of millions were used to pump the price.

At the current price, and assuming they release a similar amount of coins this year, that represents well over 5 billion US dollars of profit. Not bad. It seems it pays to manipulate the price. Don't be surprised with any upcoming release of coins into circulation, historically a little over 1 billion get released after ripple pumps with the use of previous profits. At that point they likely will have a multi-billion dollar war chest for the next round of manipulation.

This works great for day traders; but, if you're an average investor you need to keep in mind it's being manipulated. The fact is most folks here don't know when they will pull the rug out from under you. If you've been holding take the money and run. As all things crypto it's buyer beware.

Ripple with partnerships with banks will be the leader of payment projects, 2018 will proof this.

I've seen a lot of arguments against XRP, but the only one that is valid is the ethical position that XRP/Ripple is not true to the spirit of crypto. I respect those who take this stance, but the other arguments against XRP simply aren't valid. There is a lot of misinformation out there. If anyone wants to know more about XRP, then Hodor's blog is an excellent resource:

Let's not put into conclusion that it is not possible, will never know what will happen next, we don't even know what tommorow brings. Lets just jeep it as a positive way that maybe the ripple will take into future currency.

Fuck Ripple and every retarded centralized shitcoin. Will that suffice for an answer?

I strongly endorse this same moderate point of view.
On the other side you could make a buck or two by daytrading this shameful coin.

As much as i believe its potential to surpass ETH in the crypto world, i am so convinced too that Ripple will follow Bitcoin's path to domination. But not now. Not while Bitcoin is around.

Cryptocurrency has a decentralized system instead of centralization, if Ripple does not use decentralization system then it isn't including cryptocurrency world anymore. And i think what happened to Ripple recently is because of the many investors who invest in Ripple. Because cryptocurrency system when more demand on a coin then the price will go up as well.

And what happened recently to Ripple is interesting to see, he is able to replace Ethereum in the second position of the world's best coin cryptocurrency. And indeed very far away if we talk Ripple is the currency in the future, there are still many considerations.
