Although the price has dropped, I'm thinking XVG may be the coin of this year. It has become fairly well known, the anonymity and security aspects of it are very attractive and I think it still has a lot of room to grow. So my money is on XVG for now.

I think AION is good altcoin to invest in coming years, testnet will launched on January 2018 and will growing up again after mainnet realease.
Current market is Binance, Kucoin and Etherdelta

DCN, I think this coin is not monitored, and everyone forgot it.
just look at coinmarketcap.
I'm sure 2018 is still interesting to wait for.

my predictions of good altcoin for 2018 are XVG and STU, because I see from the price development charts that occur on XVG and STU all show that both prices will rise in 2018.

-In 2018 Waves will show its true potential worth $ 150,
- Ethereum will be worth $ 2500, your contract system will be upgraded, the great possibility of this increasing prices is great.

The holy trinity of interoperability: AION, ICON, WANCHAIN. Those will be my biggest HODLS for 2018 for sure. But i do believe there are many other altcoins worth holding. Important not to just buy whatever you come across (or is hyped, or is recommended to you). Important to do your own research and have a strong reason to buy, and a stronger reason to sell.

I have one prediction: Ethereum will surpass $3,000 in 2018 and it will start aiming $5,000 after all. Note this and we can talk about it later on. The actual price should have been much higher for ether.
