I keep my coin alt in kucoin.
although the exchange is new but the security is very strong.
there are many ways to secure your account in a kucoin.
Have a nice day.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The safest is to put in the wallet. But I think the trading exchange  are safe enough if you believe it. Or you can split your blance and put it in many places

i don't know what should i choose to keep my coin. if using myetherwallet it seems that the coin can't be used for a time. because we just keep it and not exchange anymore. yet, if you want to exchange your coin you can use binance.

Most holders are removing cryptocurrency from the exchange and decentralizing their storage.
Here are some lists of wallets that most  crypto holder use:
1 Nano Ledger S – Hardware Wallet is just as secure as the hardware wallets. It is more portable and easier to carry around. It is a hardware wallet that comes at a very competitive price.
2 Trezor – Hardware Wallet. It is one of the first movers in the hardware wallet industry and sets the gold standard for crypto security. Trezor has a reputation for providing top-notch security, protecting against both virtual and physical theft. What Trezor lacks in style, it more than makes up in the security department. Even if your PC is compromised with malware, your private keys will still be safe with Trezor. In this sense, Trezor is more of a vault than a wallet.
3 Coinbase – Hot Wallet. You can activate 2-Step Verification and Google Authenticator for more protection.
Coinbase even has a vault available if you wish to trade convenience for an added layer of security. The only drawback is that Coinbase only offers Bitcoin and Ethereum wallets.
4 MyEtherWallet – Paper Wallet. Paper wallets are for those who wish to have their own private wallets without forking out cash for hardware wallets. The money saved could be invested in their coins. Simply generate your wallet online at myetherwallet.com and note your private keys. The website does not store or transmit any of your private information.
5 Jaxx — Software Wallet. Jaxx, the world’s first mobile wallet solution. Versions for iOS, Android, desktop and browser are now available. Jaxx uses a mnemonic seed to back up your wallet or transfer it to a different device. Jaxx allows you to receive your funds, scan QR code, view your crypto holdings, all in one intuitive app.
6 Electrum – Software Wallet. It is a fast, lightweight wallet for desktop and mobile users. It has a long list of supported features to make it the most flexible wallet today. It offers cold storage solutions, integration with hardware wallets.

You can also choose to print your wallet (address of your cryptocurrency and private key key) to a physical paper, then secure this paper in a safety deposit box.

Where to keep alternative coins safely for free ?

Is exodus in your opinion a safe alternative coin wallet ?

Is binance safe to keep alternative coins ?

Assuming we're talking about a growing investment, at what point would you buy a hardware wallet and which ?

I just bought about 0.2 bitcoin at a Turkish website (paribu.com) but I'm afraid it will have waited too long before it is transferred to another place. Can you recommend a safe alternative to buy cryptocurrencies safely from Turkey ?
Kalau menurut pengalaman saya gan, lebih tepatnya pada Binance.ini merupakan market yang bagus dan aman dan juga bisa melakukan buy dan sell juga.

I recommend Binance - it is No1 Exchange now, trust them

They are all trusted and then one day something happens and they are not trusted anymore.
It's always the same story only characters are changed for every incident.

Exchanges might be all right for coins which otherwise should be kept in specific wallets, but in general it is a bad idea to keep coins on any exchange, because the policy might change and you can end up not being able to sell coins without ID or something else. MEW supports all erc-20 tokens and since most of tokens are like that, it's a great place to hold cryptocurrencies.
I think the best place is that altcoin's official core wallet.
If the coin has some issues it might not be the best option. For instance, I hold iota on an exchange and that it not very safe, but their wallet had been seriously hacked once, so I could lose my iotas if I kept them there. I think it is better to use a trusted wallet and perhaps even a trusted exchange if there's no wallet like that, instead of keeping coins in the wallet of a basically new project.

It maybe number 1 exchange but still it is not safe to store our funds in exchange because we are nit controlling the private keys so the exchanges can freeze ir lock or shoutdown the exchanges so never trust anyone fully have an wallet there are lots of multicoin wallets are available but buying an hardware wallet is the best option and it cost us only about $70.

I think all the wallets are vulnerable to hack but, as long as we believe and think positively there will be no problem, any surely there is a fatigue let alone the digital world, I am using MEW I save my private key elsewhere, if my wallet is hacked I mean no luck alone,
just calm down, and keep the spirit

There are various articles on the internet about this. it is possible to search from there and buy a wallet. Maybe this site can help.

The most secure way is to store it on a ledger nano S.
There are other ways including paper wallets, but it's a bit risky as you might lose them.
For Online storage, I use Myetherwallet to store ERC20 tokens. Be careful while storing online and don't get phished.

In my opinion, there are many exchange platforms, but be careful when you choose which one will keep your alternative coins in a safe way because there many scam platforms. As well, I advise you to choose Binance , due to it  is ranked first as the best exchange  platform, and it is very secure and safe compared to other ones. and even poloniex , bittrex are not bad, Plus, you must protect yourself from the hackers, so you must keep your information in a safe place.

In addition to that, for me, before keeping your money in exchange  platform , you must learn how to secure yourself ( the security ), you should  not click on bad links because there may be many viruses in them. Furthermore, the most essential thing is you must  keep your personal information on a flash disk, because there is always a possibility that your computer will be hacked.
