Is Digibyte a good coin to invest in?

DGB is known to have a good pump this time of year. Last year it went to 2500 satoshi. Hit 1000 satoshi twice before that. Its got a good uptrend going. Take a look at the chart. This sucker is going to the moon.

i invested in vertcoin in the past, i really liked it
until i found that technology driven coins are more important

I think Digibyte is a good coin, it is actually listed as the top Altcoins today and it is the best player for Ripple, CulossusCoin and Verge. The higher the market capital is the higher the importance of a coin and these Digibyte and Ripple are the top coins that I'm going to invest next year.

I on the other hand really do like community driven coins, for me the general sentiment of the community (minus speculators of course) is what attracts me to the coin. I think Digibyte, like the ones you mention (good picks too), are those that you need a lot of patience for, and are just good diversification strategy coins. But for long-term profit, and investment, you're absolutely right. Tech is more important, but with so many to choose from and no idea if the tech will realize, it becomes trickier to pick a winner from the pack.

It is basically good coin but I think it needs to mature in the long term in terms of both team and public interest. But the team should give up spreading ordinary news because pump groups are waiting for that, it hurts the reputation of dgb.
