Hey,

I have just assembled my first mining rig, with 2 Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 4GB. I am getting a Hash Rate of about 17 per card. Below if the log, please assist.

Second thing I would want to know is that when I disconnect my display cables, the Hash Rate of one graphic card goes to zero. Does the display need to be connected all the time ? what is the alternate way ? why is this happening ?

AMD Cards available: 2

For first, you have to BIOS mod it Smiley

Can you share the thread/video explaining how to go about it.

Also, could you please help with the display cable issue ?

Thank you

You probably need HDMI Dummy plug for this display problem Smiley

Axe, not contradicting anything that anybody on here is saying (as i`m just getting back into this).

What i will say though is in relation to your display problem there really ought not to be any problems in disconnecting the cables.
I have 2off sapphire rx580 nitro + cards in my new rig and I only had display cables connected to them during setup.
The cards have never had video cables connected to them after that as i just use the mobo (AS Rock H110 Pro BTC+) video out.
I know this doesn`t solve your prob, but it does let you know that disconnecting the cables shouldn`t have any affect.
FWIW i`m running the current claymore miner on zec.

Actually on second read of your post i note that your cards are 4GB where as mine are 8GB.
Wouldn`t think this would make any difference, but someone else may be able to advise.

Hope you get fixed up.

Hey Smoolae,
Thank you. Have modded the BIOS. Getting a hashrate of approx 19.2 on each card.

What further mods can be done ? Also, in case of overclocking, what is the correct way of doing it, without risking burning out of the GPU.

That's still pretty low, you should see hashrates around 28+ Mh/s.

For OC-ing you download MSI Afterburner and play around with Core and Memory speed. Just be sure do not choose this "Start with Windows" option in Afterburner, saves you from many headaches Grin.

You can find many more, just Google it. Wink

Axe,

Yeah that`s right bud, I`ve got the DVI out of the mobo connected direct to the tv (using it as a monitor) via DVI -> HDMI cable.
That allows me to view the full desktop, the claymore miner, the sapphire realtime settings and the zwallet in a decent resolution and a readable size.
I did disable the colour option of the claymore using the "- colors 0" option though as the red text was a bit meh to read.
Also i changed the intensity to 7 using "-i 7" and i`ve only had 12 rejected shares out of 3480 mining zcash at a stable 311H/s per card at 47 degrees.

BTW not sure if the hash rate there is H/s or MH/s as claymore states Hs and the header of the pool states Hs but the graph of the pool states MH/s.
Maybe somebody can clear that one up for me? The pool is flypool if that helps.

Hello.

I have 6pcs Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 4gb on fresh install windows 10, and the mobo that I use is biostar TB250-BTC. I haven't done any OC and mod yet. The hashrate that I got are 17.xx, 17.xx, 17.xx, 25.xx, 17.xx and 17.xx. Why got 5 hashrates abnormal? 25.xx is consider normal hashrate right?

Anyone could lead me to fix this issue?

Thanks.

It's probably a driver issue, if you have installed the Amd-Adrenalin drivers, you have to switch them from "graphic" to "compute" mode in your driver settings.
