While buying bitcoins from localbitcoins platform, you can provide the address generated by bittrex. No harm in that! This way your bitcoins will be added to your bittrex account. You can also use other exchanges as well. However, it is recommended that you use your own wallet while buying from localbitcoins platform. Just to be on the safer side.

What is the harm in giving exchange address?
whats the advantage of using wallet?
