Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

As a rare visitor to the altcoin forum, I am mildly intrigued by the idea of this thread. I second EletricMucus' suggestion of starting with the least novel/lowest effort coins. Although I suppose that doesn't narrow it down that much  Wink

I also agree with those demanding less huff-puffing, more slaying

The only issue I see after watching numerous 51% attacks is well they survive which is the opposite of what I thought would happen. Even with no Dev support someone forks it and the coin moves on. Fork it again and again and again........ holders and devs revive it. I look at most of the alts as little science projects and the fixes as experiments that can later be applied to better and better crypto. Heck even some coins change COMPLETELY and evolve.
