My age is extremely tied to it. I've already lost a potential partnership over it, it seems. I won't let it deny me opportunities any longer. I'll be around but as somebody else.

Oh, I see.
I misunderstood. I thought that you had killed your persona long ago.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Now watch... someone is going to trace his new donation address to his old wallet and figure out which profile matches up with which person.

Time for a game of "Guess Who is Atlas!"
The trick is to look for new members with wildly increasing post counts, mostly containing half-baked ideas that are soon discarded.

Sadly, this is the truth. Atlas should have continued using this persona and slowly phased in the new one. But damn, that'd be an identity crisis. I doubt I could do it...

What was the age thing and who was he (I) fighting with? I'm sadly curious, who has the scoop.
Also, too many people negative toward his plans

The age thing is that he's 17, and considering the big mouth he often espouses with about many large topics, people look down on him for it. My (minor) beef with him personally is that I think he tries an awful lot to describe the bitcoin community as something it's not, really. I couldn't care less about his age. I mean, I'm not discrediting Republican libertarians who think the US dollar is going to plummet to nothingness, but they aren't the whole of everyone who uses bitcoins. I use them because I think they're pretty cool and should gain more traction, and partially as an investment as well. (Though I'm trying to become a more active spender/earner because of the whole investor problem.)

I like that Bitcoin has strong political supporters who seemed to have been wanting or needing a currency like this to act as a solution to a lot of their issues, along with all the drug sellers and buyers, and other illegal trades, plus the 24 hour stock market for the gamblers, and all the technology behind it. I support all these aspects of Bitcoin

I doubt Atlas was remotely a repub. Perhaps you don't understand what a libertarian actually stands for? I'm pretty sure I do, and I would be so bold as to call myself a libertarian. I don't entirely understand how a Republican could be libertarian either, but as far as I recall he said he was both, and I've seen others do the same. I would guess we're both just misunderstanding something, many things and beliefs can be reconciled.

Welcome back, Atlas. This is should be the first Bitcoin.org forum meme. I am going to set up a donations page to start getting people to do it.
