at the moment there are really a lot of very promising projects that are waiting for their time to do the same xx100 or maybe even more. The bottom line is to choose the best one and I'm sure that such projects are already on the market!

I do agree with the fact that Bitcoin will stabilise. As regards Altcoins there are a few that will rise, like Ethereum Classic, Ripple, Monero, DigiByte and Golem. These are coins that do have potential due to new tech coming their way.
Best thing to do is keep an eye out on the Altcoins you find interesting, and check the details about them.

2017 changed my life thanks to crypto.

Many people in crypto make the mistake to go in projects that are already high. Maybe most people are just too lazy or dont have the time to analyze and look at coins below the top100 at Coinmarketcap

Colx combines Monero and Raiblocks and will x100 in 2018. But I think we will see many cheap altcoins explode in 2018, while Bitcoin stays relatively stable.

Agree with this, there will be a lot of bullish alt coin in 2018 and many good project in real world will make this community will be more popular and bring many investors to invest more fiat in many alt projects. Even more in my opinion every alt coin right now will be boom in 3-5 years, but that is only my opinion.

If Bitcoin's price will be stable then it will be the best time for the altcoins to goes up. That's what we're all waiting for. I think starting this February, everything will be different specially for the Altcoins.

I disagree with the bitcoin will be stable, bitcoin at the beginning of the year is always a correction, but in the middle of the year and the end usually bitcoin will explode. but that's just my guess

I agree that many altcoins will grow significantly in 2018. And I think that bitcoin will also rise in price more than 40k. I guess the next surge will happen soon. We should wait a little.

It isn`t right to say about exploding all alts below top100. You certainly should understand, some of current alts will disappear forever, cuz of their full Useless.
Useless is the most important "trend" in new project in 2nd half of 2017 and 1st of 2018, i hope, quite good in crypto understand it easily. So the conclusion is very simple: 2018 will be the year of those alts exploding, which help scalable,safety problems, etc, and alts, which just "great community tokens", will go down for sure. You can screen it:)

My opinion is that the last 2017 - 2018 will be a breakthrough in Altcoins, in these years they received the same recognition that they could not get for many years, bitcoin was the first, and after him no one else knew Altcoins, any person ask - all know Bitcoin, but the other side of people knew that besides him there are and will be created other coins, this is like in our world, there are: dollars, euros, and other monetary currencies

So many good projects out there now. A few coins that i have gotten into lately are LUX, NCL2 & ONION. Love staking my coins to gain more.

I agree with you, I think 2018 will be the year for ico and altcoin. The fact that BTC will strengthen their position even though doubts do not show up.

A few coins exploded indeed but for bad... what happen with Ripple was unpredictble.

Possibly, but I think we're going to have a very sluggish couple of months and it's going to take some pretty big news from BTC or ETH to get the masses back in so they can fuel another ALT run.

Remember, a lot of people who started toward the end of December would've been spooked by the January crash - even the pre-xmas dip that happened - would've seen a lot of newer investors take the losses and leave. We need those investors back.

We'll see, but I'm not very optimistic right now.
