My top pick would be Bitcoin (again?) hahaha. I hope 2018 would be even better for Bitcoin, at least solving the expensive fee issue would be great. These days I rarely make Bitcoin transaction because of it. Take a look at my alt list:

1. Litecoin. While Bitcoin is still expensive to use, cheap and fast coin like Litecoin would rise in usage. Besides that, Litecoin will always adopt any technology that will be implemented in Bitcoin, so that's good.

2. Stellar (XLM). Same reason as Litecoin, even faster.

3. VeChain (VEN). I'm not sure how this coin will perform in the end of the year, but this one will definitely amazed you in early 2018.

2018 will be for bitcoin and other altcoins too.
I am expecting bitcoin will be more stable this year camparing to the last year. so alts will move crazily this year.

I have the same altcoin that i will vote as the altcoin of the year and that is etherium.
Since this beginning of the year, etherium has prover its power become more powerfull with its price growing up.

2017 was the year of bitcoin currency. Not only bitcoin but altcoins also become popular last year. Investors who are staying away from bitcoin currency because of its high volatility and uncertainty are now moving their investments to other altcoins. Some of the most popular currencies are Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple etc. All altcoins works more or less like bitcoins, but each of this altcoin has its own unique feature. Because of these unique features these altcoins will rock in 2018.

The self-amending crypto Tezos will take over ethereum in 2018

Very high chances that Ethereum will be the coin of 2018 but Bitcoin's potential can't be ignored. I have high expectations from these two coins. Ripple has also showed a huge rise but I don't think that it will become the coin of 2018.

There are many good choices, but mine are Bitcoin, Ethereum and Waves. All 3 are good

hmm, my prediction is :

- BCH
- XRP
- WAVES

This coins have a great potential and price keep raising from time to time, a lot of people interest to invest their money to this coins...

Not xrp. The xrp is not a cryptocurrency, but only an instrument of exchange. BCH also couldn't beat the original Bitcoin. Only waves has a lot of potential fot growth

This year will be entirely about Bitcoin and Ethereum. From cheap ones I suppose Cardano will perform well and will increase its price significantly and NEO will be moving forward as well.

2017 was really a nice and good profitable year for cryptotrader's where it gave opportunity to the number of traders to earn some hundreds of thousands of dollars. Specially traders trading bitcoin, and Ethereum and litecoin. Now in 2018 there are number of coins which are expected to be the Best coin of the year like Ripple, Monero, Litecoin, IOTA, Waves, Railblocks. All these coins are trending and they are expected to grow atleast 10x to 20x times from the current market price.

This is a very interesting topic and o very excited to see what coin will be the coin of the year 2018. I am looking forward really on Ethereum since now it has really established its reliability on crypto users but in the end of 2018 crazy might it go in my opinion I think it cannot surpass yet the value of bitcoin in crypto market. It will stake lots of years to overtake it. Maybe it will just make some really good numbers compared to btc. I am looking forward on the end of 2018.

i think that Stellar , Ripple , Litecoin will be the coins of year 2018. they are very potential althought the coinmaket will face challenges

It is too difficult to evaluate all coins in terms of the best. What should be taken as a basis? Stability? Growth? Benefit? Potential? If you take a combination of all factors, then from old coins - Etherium. But altcoins can show such growth, which is difficult to predict. So this is all sophistry. Time will tell.

even though it is a shitcoin and doesnt have development looks we can get some profits from it.

This will be the year of many alts. They will grow and rise in price. Bitcoin can no longer grow so fast as before. I think that the ripple and NEM can surprise us in 2018.

Etherium, but Ripple should be mentioned, it had good start this year.

i'm hoping all my coins are in the top 5 of 2018 but don't we all. i'm having big hopes for xby though
