Currently am mining about 250 Electroneum per day using nine GTX 1070s. I'm mining ETN as a speculative coin, anticipating it to go well above its present value of 8 cents per coin.

Are there better speculative coins to mine? I'm talking about coins that are in extremely early stages and at extremely low values that may not yield much mining profits today, but if accumulated could yield massive profits down the road.

For example, I would have loved to have mined plenty of XVG, XRP etc. last Spring, or some ETH in 2016.

So for 2018, what are the best low-value but high potential coins that you can pull in at high quantities per month?

Right now, I am saying:

ETN
COOCH (windows miner currently broken)

It would be great to add more to this list. Perhaps there are even better speculative coins than ETN to mine right now?

why do you put all your eggs in the same bag? There are plenty of coins to mine and nobody knows which one is the next big thing. You might be luck or...not.

13 GPU Nvidia Rig running under Ubuntu 16 (eth hash rate: 300+Mh/s @ 1000W for whole rig): 3x EVGA GTX 1060 3Gb (24MH/s @ 65W) + 6x MSI Armor GTX 1060 3Gb (24MH/s @ 70W) + 1x MSI GTX 1060 (24Mh/s @ 65W) + 3x Zotac GTX 1060 (24MH/s @ 65 W). PSU 2400W, Asrock ASRock H110 Pro BTC+, cheap Chinese risers, Kingston SSD 120Gb, 8Gb memory. Selling some of my GPUs (around 200€, still under warranty), if you're interested, contact me in private.

LOL, that's the reason for starting this post!  What are some of the best under-the-radar coins ripe for mining in 2018?

ETN is my big one, but I'm sure there are many more coins that are low on the "whattomine" price index, but could grow exponentially over the next year, making every month mined exceedingly profitable in terms of later value.

What other coins should be added to this list and why?

I think nobody has a clue, it's a question of believing in something. I mined ETN too (not much as you), but also PIRL, MONA, ZCL. They are not so small but value has increased a lot already and might still be some potential.

You are better off mining an Nvidia optimized algorithm coins and trading for ETN than mining ETN with Nvidia as its best mined with AMD.

Thanks for the tip --- what would be the best coin(s) to mine with Nvidia cards?  I've got my eye on XZC but would love a much lower cost, under-the-radar coin that has more potential for exponential growth like ETN.

Are there any great low-cost coin prospects that are best mined by Nvidia cards for 2018?

I'm currently mining XSH with my 8 GPU 1070 rig and doing around 60~80 usd a day. I believe this coin still have potential to rise to 50 cent each this year. I'm using bigmine pool with ccminer 2.2 @ SMOS.

I have a good bit of power sitting on ITNS... 3-4 cents now.

Realistically I think 10 cents or more is no issues within a short time. Beyond that I don't pretend to be qualified to speculate specifically... but it has alot of potential if the road map is followed, IMHO.

I think intensecoin is a better alternative to ETN.  As someone already pointed out though, cryptonight is best mined using an AMD card.  I mine zcoin with my nvidia cards and ITNS with my processor.  Either way I think ITNS is the best cryptonight coin to mine currently.

WTF? im using 2 rx 580 (1800 h/s both) and im getting almost 90 -100 per day in https://etn.spacepools.org/ ,

What is your hasrate?

I note a diference between pool payments, Anyone note it too?

If you estimate your earnings for example in http://electroneum.vip/#  got 92.61 ETN/day
in https://easyhash.io/pools/etn   got     46.30  ETN/day
in https://etn.spacepools.org/ doesn t have paltform calc but i got the 90 per day..

Why such a big difference?  The pool fee?

This would be great to achieve, but I just tried mining XSH with nine 1070s on bigmine with ccminer, blake2s algo and received less than 100 XSH for 12 hours of work.

To get 60-80 USD XSH per day, I'd need results that are more than double that ---- what is your secret?  How are you pulling in so much with just eight 1070s?

My total has rate was on the order of 33 GH/s on bigmine XSH, blake2s

My hash rate was on the order of 6-7 kH/s on the Nanopool ETN pool.

Last 24 hours the difficuly was a bit down as i can see. I still managed to get 391 XSH. Some days before that i got 40~70 XSH per hour, leaving me with 700+ XSH per day Shocked The cards are mining with 36 MH/s, nothing special really.

It's getting harder to find cheaper coins that could go up a lot due to the recent price jumps, I did mine ETN for a while but i'm not too optimistic on its future, i've started looking into Pirl and Ubiq as there still relatively cheap and Pirl has a low MC.

I've been mining ETN with RX Vega. But now nicehash is paying more and I can't find which coin generates excess returns for Vega. Any ideas ?

@bartjeyayo
Where did you find XSH ? It's not listed on whatomine so it's like they are missing interesting coins. Where can you trade it? Before mining a coin I always check if I can swap it against another coin or currency afterwards otherwise you're stuck with a virtual currency you can't use anywhere.

@all
what site do you use outside whatomine to find interesting coins?

I use CMC and look for coins that are minable and somewhere around top 300+ Smiley.
