For german user, I will sell Chilly's from Lucko next time at ebay.de.

They have installed a fixed firmware which pre-heat the VRM's slowly so the heat up problem is very seldom now only if my internet connection drops more than a few minutes.
No hairdryer heat up is needed for them. So they run stable after flashing the work around firmware.

Check ebay by using search word Chilly :-)

Lucko, I hope it's ok for you. If not delete this post simply  Roll Eyes

Cheers...

I'm OK with that...

Now I have boards made but there is again a problem with them. Since we skipped test to get them done ASAP(it would take at lest one week more) it looks like one of the components is incorrect. Still didn't find what that components is...

This went bad long ago.  I was lucky to get my moneyback about 2 months ago.
Very poorly managed.  I would not go so far as to say it was a scam.  But in the end, the leader was less than competent.

It's a shame, i saw the cointamination board hashing on eligius, and it was really good.

Quite how we went from that to this is one for the XBT history books.

Please say send me my boards now. You will see they are made and they don't work. I would love to do that so I have less of them to fix and someone will confirm the problem... It didn't run dry I'm just sick and tired of this. I'm working over the day and fixing this board at night. What else do you like me to do. Last week I end up in ER because I was neglecting to drink enough and my kidney stones return. One4many pushed me in making boards ASAP but had every chance to have them make sooner. Same goes for you. So please put your money where your mouth is(calling this a scam) and say send them now. Unfortunately this batch since we were pushing time limits went bad. I have no clue at the moment what is wrong. I tested components MrTeal told me that can be wrong and they are all OK. I'm fixing the board blind since I don't have full blueprints only assembly instructions. It is no fan testing components 1x0,5 mm.

Well I know a person who bought your boards and they are working just OK so really not sure about that but it was your choice. But Yes I agree it was my mistake giving everyone so many choices to make or wait. I should just make all boards not have made 6 small batches that increased the cost and chance to something go wrong with assembly. So yes that was a mistake on my part. The rest please point out where was poorly managed or was I less then competent.

Excuse me ... so it is my fault that you had boards made which seem to be broken? Did I or anyone here else tell you to skip 'the normal process' with a the safety precautions or did you make the call yourself? My guess is the latter, so fix it and deliver the boards in a workable state.

Thank you!

      one4many

P.S.: Send a board to the MrTeal, he might have the time to find the problem. Worked sort of with the first broken batch.
P.P.S.: Out of curiosity, have you ever produced a batch with working boards?

Hello

For everyone and especially for Lucko:

Have someone switched Lucko's made boards firmware to more efficient one as announced by MrTeal on
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=304250.msg6102864#msg6102864
What are results? Boards run stable at 1V and lower temperature?

I looked. And not sure if this will work. You can test but at the moment there is no point of doing that. Problems starts at 0,88 to 0,96V in most cases so I don't think this will work. It will work on some but those don't need slow rise firmware at all...

Hi Lucko

So the new "economy/life extending software" may not work with the boards requiring the "slow rise software"

But should be ok with boards that worked normally with the "standard software"

Is this a correct assumption?

Hello
I tested last weekend: Only reliably works on board that won’t need slow rise software.
On others I got mixed results: My advice is that desserve a try it but don’t place high hopes on it.

Good to know that MrTeal doesn't care anymore ... who is the debugging company. URL / address ?
I would like to know who and where they are.

Thx

It's not that I don't care, there is just nothing I can do about it. At this point the only real information I have is that there was an error in building the boards but which part is incorrect isn't known, and that the ASIC core power goes immediately into a current limit fault when it is powered on. Unfortunately something like that is almost impossible to debug remotely outside some basic checks, without having a copy of the board in hand to look at and test. If someone (ideally in Canada or the US) wants to tell Lucko to send me one of their boards, I can debug it and forward it along when I'm done.
