xao.miningpool.host is not working. I came back on it four hours ago with over 500 H/s and have earned nothing. I will turn off my miner for now. The lolpool is way underpaying so I got off that one also. Is there a reliable pool for this coin?
I've since corrected the issues, pool is performing well and paying out properly. Fees are 0% for now. The last payment you did for me is still locked in my wallet. Whats wrong with that payment? All other payment have cleared successfully. I have same problems with my balance on wallet from this pool ;[ I hope pool dev will answer Now - locked amount: 349.643200000000 - cleared, and I not have this coins... with today hashes it's 2 day mining with my cards. |

Yeah, the original coins I mined on http://xao.miningpool.host/ are still locked and I don't know why. It may be that xao.miningpool.host was the first pool up and he misconfigured something originally. So far all the payments have gone out successfully and unlocked with: http://alloy.popularpool.com/#payments |

Yes he should make a new payment since he got our coins back in his wallet. Hopefully he's an honest guy and do the right thing and pay us what is ours. I can still see the locked amount in my wallet. |

Hello, please elaborate on the issue with compilation on Ubuntu so we can fix it. We do have plans to release Mac OS and Ubuntu builds during the next update. |

Hello, please elaborate on the issue with compilation on Ubuntu so we can fix it. We do have plans to release Mac OS and Ubuntu builds during the next update. I think he means it won't compile on a Ubuntu with gcc-7. I needed to add these flags in order to get it to compile:- -Wno-format-truncation -Wno-implicit-fallthrough -Wno-unused-const-variable -Wno-error=terminate |

- Launch alloyd and wait until it is synchronizes with the blockchain.
- Launch simplewallet --generate-new-wallet=your_wallet_name.bin --pass=your_password
- Start mining from the wallet using start_mining command
I created a wallet as it is written and mine on a pool. How can I check the balance of my wallet?

In the last month, there are a lot of news Cryptonite algo coins... and they take a very high HashRate and difficulty in a moment... and some takes exchanges very quickly... something are change with this algo.

Does seem like the Diff isn't calculating correctly or something. 3 top Hashrate pools all showing ETA for new block of ~8 minutes, and yet, it's taking over 35 minutes for a new block to be mined.
Also, not sure about Luckypool.io. I've been there through several blocks found, and at 2.8Khs I still show: Pending Balance: 0.000000000000 XAO
(Now, It's been a while since I mined CrytoNote coins, but should there at least be a .000000000001 in there somewhere? Especially since the pool calculators are showing my expected coins should be around 170/day)

Difficulty is based on the average observed hashrate for a 360 block window that lags the current blocks by about 60. The blocks themselves come in as a Poisson distribution which is very difficult to analyze accurately due to the high randomness. At least one of the pools still has a target block time of 120 causing a 50% higher network hash rate to be displayed, but that should not affect the local hash rate. You can only expect 1 - (1/e) or about 63% of the blocks to come in under the expected time listed by the pool, and you can regularly expect ones to come in much later than that. You can take a look at my charts here for more detailed block times and hash rates: https://1drv.ms/x/s!AoILQjreP68U6j_Vq3KFcPl63ci6 (Check the Hash Rate charts sheet at the bottom for shorter average network hash rates). As for pool payouts, you can expect it to take 2-6 hours (a little over 4 hours at the time of this writing), depending on block times for a mined block to get 60 confirmations and show up in Pending Balance, and that's only after the pool finds a block after you start mining there. PS: The other thing to note about the "Block Found: 3 Minutes Ago" display on the mining pools is that it often shows when the block before the last one was found since it uses the last blocks timestamp. Because when a new block is found, the template for the next block is created and sent to the miners, including a timestamp; it shows when work started on that block not when the work finished on that block. |

Like I said, it's been a while since I've mined XMR and all the other pools show your "UnConfirmed" balance, so at least you SEE it's working and you just have to wait for the mintiing timer to get paid.
