EU based Alloy pool

http://xao.euminingpool.com/

We are finding blocks with huge luck  Grin

I'm in, although pool needs more miners.
XAO looks rather interesting because of the transactions speed. Gotta test.

Is there a specific reason why you went for the three second block time or was that an arbitrary choice?

My miner is often getting this "GPU0 found incorrect share. If you see this message often, make sure you that you did not overclock it too much, also try to reduce "-h" value"
Which -h value should I chose for my old 7950 card with 3g of memory? I didn't overclock it. Default -h value is 400.

Start with zero and go up 100 at a time until you get errors and back off 100 to where it was stable.

Thank you, -h 300 seems to be working quite fine.

Assuming you mean three minutes. We wanted to ensure the network had enough time to mine, submit and verify blocks while ensuring all transactions are send and received in a very fast order...

I get that but Monero is functioning pretty well with two minutes block time. I was wondering whether you had a particular reason to change that.

No reason in particular, except to ensure the blockchain has enough time (mostly due to past latency issues with other cryptocurrencies...).

The old wallet will still work, but highly recommended that you upgrade.
