there is a very good chance that bitcoin will continue to grow and be adopted more and more in the coming years, in other words in long term. this means buying at any price and holding is a good idea and any time is a good time to do so.

if you want short term then the "better" time is when the price is still low and everyone is selling. meaning back when price was $12k-$13k. back when everyone is spreading FUD and calling bitcoin dead or dying and talking about altcoins overtaking it! my personal indication is always 30% lower than the ATH

As of press time, the cryptocurrency market is growing green with Bitocin surging a little almost now reaching $16,000 level but then there is a big chance it can soon go down to $13,000 due to lack of good stimulus on the market. There seems to be no big good news that can sway the market really up. Now, if you are looking to get in into Bitcoin just wait for it to get into a little dip. We are still waiting for news on the Lightning Network and actually before the implementation of LN is the best time to join the Bitcoin bandwagon. I am seeing Bitcoin soon going back into the $20K level which it did already broke in December and then maybe we can expect it to slowly climb to the $25K mark after the first quarter of the year. Anyway, good luck to all of us in the Bitcoin community.

It's always a good time to buy btc and hold btc.

But if you're scared about the price swings, or if you have doubts about investing in cryptocurrencies (in this case, bitcoin) , then this is not the right market for you because, for better or worse, the market will always test your emotions. Just remember: "Invest only what you afford to lose".

And it is too early to draw any conclusions about the recent increase in the price. I'd wait a few more days to see if this trend continues because a 9% increase in the price over the last 24h is just another day in Bitcoin.

Very well said sir ! You have first to ask your self whether you will hold it for a long term purpose or you will just hold it for short term and make profit in up trends. Just like sir Herbert2020 said any time and any price is you buy will give you more profit in the long run.

Yeah bro,the price of bitcoin is going up at last arting a line of smile in our face.The price of bitcoin closed at the price of $13800 on the last day of 2017.But the price started his new year with a falling price of $13354..But it recovered its price and became $14709.82.The price of bitcoin further increased and have come to $15019 today.So,you can see that the price is increasing.

We hope there will be no bull trap at least in this month.So,you can buy (comparatively at a cheaper rate) and hold them.I hope you will get a satisfactory profit. Bull trap or not bitcoin has certain pattern for it's growth. Look on what happened last year, it's rapid increase isn't expected but it all happened so it's also possible that we can see that on this year.

I personally think Bitcoin will again up and grow to touch 20kUSD in next few days as all new year and 25th activities are now finished and market is now  in full movement so hope soon Bitcoin price will rise but slowly.

Price of the bitcoim as of now increase again and I think this is the right time to buy more bitcoin because for sure the price will increase more.  To those people have a lot of bitcoin better you gonna do to hold your bitcoin and wait the price to increase more after that you earn profit. I think buying bitcoin would be always a good idea since we already seen the movement of the price from the past if you the old bitcoin holder you will know that there are people are afraid about bull trap but the price still getting increases so you can't predict what will be the price of bitcoin but for me i can say the price of bitcoin can be increase more only the patience can give you profit if you can hold your bitcoin tightly..
Last few days ago or yesterday we are just seeing the price is getting increases and i read some article the price is going to increase after facebook investors invest of almost $20 million in bitcoin that i think can attract other investors to invest in bitcoin..
So in the future i think the price can be burst increased if there is a big company again invest in bitcoin or there are big news again that can attract people to invest in bitcoin..

Not surprised. Remember that the Christmas season is usually not very exciting. People generally have lives outside of the markets, and they want to take a break. I did so myself, when you get into something too much, you burn out and start taking stupid decisions. It's ok to take a vacation sometimes.

Now that the markets are opening again, bitcoin is picking up a pace again and it's definitely a bullish one. As long as we stay above $12000 in the next weeks, we can break the current triangle upwards and this would consolidate a bullish trend. Ideally, we want to close as many times as possible above $14000 and we would be right on track to continue on the the same trendline as the one that meets with the November 13th dip (when we went from $7921 to $4793, in Bitstamp prices).

It is above $15K so I think we are not going to see any significant increase in the coming days. The trend is somewhat like this in the last weeks or so. If I were you I should have bought bitcoin when the price is still at $13K. And then just hold for long term.

The only rising moment that I'm seeing is the Lightning Network. Everyone is really irritated how the network is congested. But if LN could be implemented, then I sure that we are going to push the price again. Sadly, we don't know when the devs are going to push for it so we need to wait.

Let me see if I understand, you have bitcoin and want to know if this is the right time to buy more bitcoins? if so, as some people have already said you can buy at any price if your intention is to make a long-term investment, but you can also do something riskier, you can now sell your bitcoin and buy when the price drops to  $12.500, this way you will get more bitcoins
