buy bitcoin is still the best things that we can do because the price is up and down so we can try to buy at lower price. but if you can find any altcoin that will go to increase later, then you are lucky and I hope that you can make a lot of profit. I think there are too many coins that will be the best coin for you to buy and you need to always analyze every coin and decide to buy the coin. don't get too rush and be patient before you make the decision to buy the coin.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

It is actually very difficult to say which cryptocurrency is the best for an investment or best to buy.It is wise not to only invest in one cryptocurrency, but to diversify so your winnings can make up for your loses.You need to diversify and do your homework researching the team behind the cryptocurrency and what is special about it. You certainly don’t want to invest in something that is just there to speculate and don’t offer something different like technical improvements over another coin.In my opinion aside from bitcoin and ethereum,you should consider investing or buy Litecoin,NEM and ripple.That most likely I can suggest for you.

If you want to play it safe then investing in the coins at the very top of the market cap is an easy way to invest, most of those coins are proven projects with a long history of giving profits to investors that decide to invest at the dips, but remember to be smart you cannot expect to invest in a coin that is pumping and obtain profits just look at what happened to those that bought bitcoin at 20k.
