I have no NAV coins but after checking it out, I might invest in a little bag and hodl and forget about it in 2018. I will see if I can get some spare btc lined up over the coming week. There are so many hidden gems in crypto and trying to locate them all would mean a lifetime of due diligence and research. It's great to have btctalk forum as a good place to research coins and gather tips from savvy and seasoned investors and traders.

Community Fund

Nav recently passed a community fund which will reduce the staking rewards from 5% to 4%. The purpose is to use the 1% staking rewards to finish roadmap projects; hire more devs/marketers; market product launches; and finish community projects. "This equates to about $1M USD per year (at the current price) to spend on community projects, the core teams development roadmap and marketing initiatives – which will be a huge boost to the project."

Polymorph is a web service designed to allow users to anonymise any of the currencies which are exchangeable on Changelly. How it works is best summarised by this slide from our 2016 Nav Coin Conference:

NavCoin stayed below the radar until now. Dev team focused on developpment and technology, and now they just hired a new marketing team (who will announce their marketing plan very soon) amd maked voted the community fund (which will increase the marketing power as much as the market Cap will increase) to expose Nav under the spotlight.
Lot of news flow and product launches in 2018 (White paper AdApps, polymorph, navtech 2.0, ....).
Nav is really better and more advanced than Verge, and its Market Cap will catch up and overtake Verge's one before midle of 2018, to my mind.

I agree with you, NAV already had 2 peaks recently (33-35k satoshis). It already grew a lot: x35 from its minimum.
