I wanted to wait until the airdrops are over to buy more $onions, but I am not sure anymore 

Isn't it more profitable to buy before airdrop?

I think potentially you can get more profit to buy onions before airdrop because there are several reasons. One is airdrop is allowed you to receive 3 to4 % onion balance for free in a week. Second reason once the airdorp finishes the only way you want to buy more onions is to buy off from other onion holders. Demand will drive the price higher and higher, and less people will sell . That is why I believe it will better to buy it now

Depends on the price afterwards. I assume that there a few people which just stayed for the airdrops.

Just to make sure, and of course FOMO, I already bought a few times  

nobody knows but i can tell you actual price is on the lower bound not the upper, so it is a relative safe situation for a buy. yes, it could go lower but how much? 1,5usd has been tested so many times that we can consider it a given in my opinion but on the upper side? you know that potentially after airdrop end price could go down few points (i personally do not think it will happen) but before end year this price level will be considered ultra cheap
