According to the first post of the thread:
"PoS interest will be variable per year:
1st year: 10%
2nd year: 5%
3rd year and onwards: 1%"
I'd like to ask, are we still in 1st year? When is it ending?
I read earlier that the first year ends on July 12. So in 4 days. |

Thanks and keep up guys. I know what you mean, its brilliant to see how much the project has grown, I only became involved 6 months in so how those feel who were here at the start must be amazing. The amount of growth shown by DeepOnion in less than a year is brilliant, the team never stop either, they are always looking to improve and grow. |

And I believe it can't get much lover so there is only one direction:) Without DeepSend, only our activity and our potential can increase demand. Lucky for us, Github shows constant activity and without a serious competitor in the privacy market having similar privacy features, the leader position is very possible. Try to look for Tor-based cryptos and compare us to them, you'll see the difference immediately. As governments feel the confidence to get involved into cryptos, they'll start enforcing regulations and impose unreasonable taxes... this is when anonymity will play a big role in shifting the public more towards privacy coins. |

A very well thought out response, i agree as well with the shift to privacy coins when the governments try to add regulations. I think it will also move more that way over time anyway as people are not starting to realise just how important their personal information is, things like the facebook scandal regarding the selling of users data is just adding to the abuse of people's data and info that has gone on for years. The tide is turning! |

The role of governments in general will be challenged strongly due to crypto. I ask myself for how long we will keep having traditional governments, but I don't believe it'll still be there in 30-40 years from now. 30 to 40 years is nowhere near long enough to have the kind of revolution required to drastically change how government works. The government will always find a way to take their cut |

July 12TH; after that it will be 5%, you still have 2 more days to collect plenty of ONIONs with 10%, remember the bigger your balance the bigger your staking rewards! with PoS which is better than PoW. |
