Thanks for the new Release! Is it recommend to update or is it again possible to wait some time? Going to update during the weekend but I want to know if it's a mandatory upgrade. Keep up!  |

I was re-downloading the wallet from your website and came across the three links of the windows wallet which one should I use if I want the wallet to get synced quicker (I haven't synced my wallet for more than a year). Or did you guys also created a web-based wallet which doesn't require us to sync with the network?
There is a web-based wallet but it's not official. If you didn't sync for a year then probably you are on the old chain and you will need to download the latest wallet. Non-DV is a wallet without DeepVault and it starts faster, download it if you are not planning to use DeepVault. Here is the QuickSync guide: https://deeponion.org/community/support-tickets/knowledge-base/quicksync-guide.5/Edit found the non-official paper wallet link: https://walletgenerator.net/?currency=DeepOnion but you must take the necessary precautions like generating the private key offline using a secure device. Indeed, the Non-DV version loads significantly faster than the full one. Would it be possible to make one version with a DV on/off switch during the start of the wallet? |
