@Pffrt deepfan
In 2018, when the onion price reached $20, I once represented the team in the negotiation of large exchanges. I must clarify some facts: 1. The development team has not said that it is unwilling to pay the listing fees of large exchanges. 2 The listing fee required by the exchange at that time was very expensive, the price was about 3 million US dollars 3. Don't accept onion payment 4. Need to ensure that the price will not fall below the price before listing for a period of time.

If you are the decision maker, can you accept this fact? Do you spend 3 million dollars to pay? Remember not to accept onion payment!

If you think this is a promising project, you should support the development of the project together with the dev team. The goal of the dev team is long-term. The current market environment is not good. Short-term speculation cannot continue to promote long-term growth of deeponion.

airdrop2.0 will not bring any long-term investors, rather burn all

Thank you for mentioning these additional information.

To your points:

1. Nice that the Team was willing, but more important is the result than the willing.

2. Really all big exchanges requested listing fee of 3 million USD? And even if so, only the Dev fund was worth of more than 50 million USD at that time. Now, it's worth only around 150,000 USD so the result is that DeepOnion has neither good exchange nor funds to get listed.

3. There was enough liquidity at the peak of bullrun so it was possible to convert ONION to BTC and then to USD or maybe some part even directly to USD.

4. No coin can 100% guarantee that the price won't go below the listing price. With such condition, no coin would be listed ever, does not make sense at all.

But listing on a big exchange was probably not the biggest mistake, considering the fact that DeepOnion did not manage to keep listed even on mid-sized exchange Kucoin due to low volumes. Bigger mistake is missing marketing which would bring new investors and traders creating both volume and price increase. Then the listing on some bigger exchange will become more relevant.

And I'd be happy to support the project, but tell me, what are the long-term goals? I don't see any of them defined in an updated roadmap.

There was more than enough funds to list on tier 1 exchanges, the reason why the team chose not to was because the core team had to reveal their identity in which they chose not to, so they persisted in doing exchange competitions. Its quite obvious even if they were to be listed on any tier 1 exchange the result would have ended up the same. (same as KuCoin)

Hi,dev,why i cannot connect to deepsend node? is there any deepsend nodes for China users?
You can see most updated nodes below this page for China users (or generally speaking these nodes usable for all Tor blocked users)
https://deeponion.org/nodes.php

addnode=178.157.90.156:17571
addnode=93.115.23.10:17571
addnode=45.137.148.121:17571

these nodes are also DeepSend nodes

Unfortunately, combination of anonymous Devs and huge pre-mined Dev fund can be unacceptable for many big exchanges and investors.

I recommend checking this thread out regarding BTC and ONION TA chart analysis from one of our members:

Even though TA for BTC can sometimes be helpful, in case of DeepOnion, TA is rather for fun. The market is way too small.

And this is another reason for which potential investors are not giving a shit to this project. No matter how much trusted DEV team is. As long as they are holding the fund, I doubt any potential users would invest because anytime DEV can dump and if it happens, market will be destroyed.

It's really pretty understandable. TA works only after couple of years of existence along with passing times with normal and different economy. While DeepOnion had no real demand other than the time of airdrop.So, TA for DeepOnion will be a fool idea.

Dev fund completely in ONION is probably the biggest problem, because it is connected to all other problems. And I'm not talking only about potential uncontrolled dumping of funds, missing exchanges and investors. Due to decreasing ONION price, the Dev fund is almost worthless and therefore there are no funds to hire professionals for marketing and more developers, e.g. for smart contracts.

It's very difficult to get out of this sh*t now. The only solution seems to be to lock the Dev and Bounty funds by smart contract enabling release of funds only upon VoteCentral agreement under very strict and transparent rules. I already proposed this some time ago, but no official feedback received, of course.

Dutch, same as German?

I really start to think that this project is becoming just a joke. Level of amateurism is getting higher and higher. Instead of spending ONION from the Bounty fund e.g. for finding vulnerabilities in DeepSend as someone was suggesting, there are being wasted 1000 of ONION per language for translations to almost all languages of the world. As if a few main languages were not sufficient. And asking questions like if Dutch is same as German is just another sign of total ignorance, if I should remain polite.

If you are missing basic knowledge, try at least Google search before asking. And when you start googling, try to find also something about marketing, project management and professionalism in general. Also stop wasting time and ONION for the useless market cap game nobody cares of.

I suggested that couple of months back and the reward they offered was too low. I think it was 1000 ONION. Guess what. I was even ready to start a fund rasing campaign of BTC to test that but the interest from the team was too low to continue.

I appreciate your effort to help the project. Ignorance of the Team is a standard here so it isn't surprising me. Much worse is in this case that it means that even the Devs are not convinced about quality of DeepSend. And offering same or similar amount of ONION for this important review as for useless translation to a single language is just ridiculous.

Is there anyone able to explain me the benefit of spending 1000 ONION e.g. for Finnish or Danish translation? Nothing against these countries, but they have just a few million people who are almost all able to understand English, especially those who are interested in crypto.

At this phase of the project, spending of thousands of ONION for these translations is purely wasting. This would make some sense only in case of mainstream adoption which will happen in case of ONION in a very far future, if ever.

Another sad thing is that even when the Team makes some useful effort such as working on addition of DeepOnion to Trust wallet, this effort is refused by the third party. Don't know the exact reason of this latest fail, but wouldn't be surprising if it's again connected to the anonymous Devs and huge pre-mined Dev fund issue.

People who bought into this project were bogged, plain and simple. If by miracle this coin recovers price-wise so that you can at least get back most of ''investment'' or even all of it, sell and never look behind.

Instead of solid marketing and new features you get memes and incompetence (delisting due to ignoring KuCoin attempt to contact the devs gotta be cherry on the top).

The development team has been in contact with Kucoin all the time, you should go to the forum to verify. And irresponsible nonsense here
So the development team really doesn’t want to waste time with you

You mean KuCoin had their full attention AFTER they learned about delisting, not before when they tried to contact them. Unless you are trying to tell that KuCoin did not in fact tried to contact the devs and just made up excuse to delist them/tried but used wrong method of contact.

Only thing that picture tells us is that you were in contact with KuCoin at some point, but whether it is main channel of communication/the one KuCoin used to reach out to the devs remains unknow. We don't know how exactly communication between the devs and KuCoin looked like. The way it looks makes me think devs had more than one way of communication with KuCoin, KuCoin used one of those channels that was being neglected at the time by the devs and you know rest of the story.

So yeah, either KuCoin fucked up, lies or DeepOnion devs lie or screwed up.
