The excitement is growing!! I got a phone that will let me install DeepOnion wallet. I did a test send and am now one step closer to talking a pizza shop owner into accepting ONION for payment  That sounds great. I think you mentioned this earlier in this thread. Have the pizza shop owner talked about liquidation process of the ONION? I think you should make him aware about everything in details because there might be loss too. Anyway, I would be happy to take you a pizza once they accept ONION. Waiting for that. |

Well done, maybe you can increase the reward to 10,000 ONION to waste even more. Or you can just send this amount to a random address. This would be equally useful as this game. Now, it's more than obvious what is your "strategy". You are very well aware that your funds are too low to hire competent professionals and that skills of your current Team are very limited, therefore no real progress can be achieved. So you will just encourage tasks requiring almost no skills such as translations and market cap game in order to create an impression that the project is still active. And you will be waiting for the bull market or sudden increase of demand for privacy coins. What a great plan, keep up  |

If you are using an old version of Raspberry PI you might see that sometimes your OS freezes within a few hours/days or even when you are trying to sync. Seems like our little guy cannot deal with the new ONION Wallet due to the ram req. I recommend to change the amount of dedicated ram for your GPU (you can see it in Raspberry configuration/options) and try to lower your resolution the more you can (yes, welcome to 98'). It will look ugly but at least your ONION Wallet will keep running as a Node without freezing anymore.  ID to Verify this file with DeepVault App

Of course, I will not participate, you don't have to advise me this And yes, people who participate spend their time and energy, but on a useless thing. They deserve a reward, but because the result is useless, I call this initiative just wasting. Wasting of ONION on one side and wasting of time and energy on the other side. But I understand that some people will like it, because it is very easy way to get 1000 ONION, which is still a nice amount of money in some countries. However, the main question, what is the benefit of this translation effort for the project remains still unanswered. And it is quite sad, considering the total cost of 20 or 30k ONION. |

I still need to work out details but it will be something like- I will handle the wallet for him and pay him $2.00 extra per order that is tendered in ONION (at the beginning). I still need to make (have made) a professional looking sign stating that ONION is accepted with a QR code on it. It will be simple so I might be able to handle that soon. The other part is business cards or a pamphlet to hand out to patrons interested in using crypto. The cards/pamphlet will have the details about DeepOnion. Vietnamese translation already completed and sent for designer to implement.
We look for additional languages as follows
Lahnda
Finnish
Catalan
Swedish
Norwegian
Danish
Dutch
if you can translate one of these languages feel free to contact.
DeepOnion's 3rd year Anniversary is coming at 12 Jul 2020.
PoW Block rewards (currently 2 ONION) will halve in half to 1 ONION.

Land mass wasting, earthquakes and other kinds of wasting are also perilously inauspicious for the humanity but it happens no matter what. Thats why wasting is not always bad. I agree and that's what I meant by useless - it is useless now. I mentioned it in one of my previous posts, these translations would make sense in case of mainstream adoption and not in case of a coin with market cap below 1 million USD. Such amount of ONION could be used much better. Either it is just another example of missing strategy or maybe even worse, it is done intentionally just to show some activity. It was also explained in my previous post - there are currently neither funds nor skills for anything important and useful. But to show some positivity, I admire dedication of some Team members such as the pizza payments effort Land mass wasting, earthquakes and other kinds of wasting are also perilously inauspicious for the humanity but it happens no matter what. Thats why wasting is not always bad. You are the type of a person who lacks the understanding of principles of life, making me want to din this knowledge in you in a forcefully polite manner through humble edification.
So you are comparing DeepOnion to earthquake and other catastrophes, that's funny I am afraid that you are the type of a person who lacks the understanding of principles of economics. Nature forces are not under human control, DeepOnion is a project which is under human control and therefore its scarce resources should be used wisely. |
