In response to Apple CEO Tim Cook’s statement “Technology needs to be regulated!”, GBX CEO Kurt Looyens gives his thoughts on how this applies to Blockchain and Crypto in the following Leaprate article:

https://www.leaprate.com/forex/technology/apple-ceo-tim-cook-technology-needs-to-be-regulated/?amp

if the CEO of GBX can think of new things for GBX I'm sure GBX will have a high volume,
such as KYC using ID cards and listing tokens other than security tokens

Thank you for the feedback Dollar_Hunter, the team are open to all suggestions. Only EU citizens can pass the KYC with ID card at the moment. So, if you are out of EU you need a passport. GBX is for Utility tokens and the team will continue expanding the GBX Ecosystem  Wink
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

You think that GBX will have big volume because they have KYC? This is a joke I think? People dont like exchanges with KYC, while they able trade on top exchanges without KYC (Binance for example).

Regulated does not mean only KYC. Regulated means your funds are insured and safe. Think about it in a broader contest.

In this latest article by Valuewalk on Europe's key Blockchain Start up Leaders, Nick Cowan, CEO, GSX Group comments on Blockchain regulation in Gibraltar:

Quote
"The purpose-built legislative framework for businesses that use blockchain or Distributed-Ledger-Technology (DLT) here in Gibraltar has been pivotal in the success of our Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange (GBX), which received its DLT license from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) in November 2018."

Well, may be for big investors this is really good. And if they will be able to attract institutional investors to their exchange - than their token will grow. But for small individual investros KYC is not good.

I understand you may not like it, however, this is the new standard. All will be forcing KYC soon.

good news, but I regret that with a total prize of 16000 STACS with a value of only $ 160,
GBX is a big market and why is the reward just a little? my advice on adding reward is great for users later

This is true. People don't like exchanges with KYC especially those exchanges which takes a passport to be eligible to pass the KYC. Binance only need KYC for more than 10k usd per day transaction. Level 1 or 0 idk which, has 1k USD limit withdraw per day which doesn't mean its a compulsary KYC not like these new exchanges.

I think KYC is important for a institutional or individual investor
because it will increase the withdrawal limit per day
