That's possible, but not this year for sure, Bitcoin and Altcoin are unpredictable. We can assume that Bitcoin is more dominant through trading, altcoin is just complementary.

You can diversify your coins and use them properly

I have been interested in cryptocurrency for a year already and watching the next picture. The percentage of bitcoin dominance is decreasing in percent (about 35%). A month ago, there were 50 - 55%. What do you think about this? It seems to me that altcoins are more attractive for investment and more technological, so they are increasingly investing in altcoins.
Actually, there were really attempts to make bitcoin fall thats why there is so called fork. That woukd be possible because there were features that bitcoin is lacking and cannot offer. There is no denying that the transaction fee is getting bigger each time it increase. People tend to find lower one so they can save more. Though, bitcoins dominance is still dependent on tge people's choice and demand. For oe, butcoin has till its its top rank and gaining popularity even more.

I think the power of bitcoin can not be denied. With 50% and altcoin 50% and the altcoin 50% is splitted to many altcoin so i think bitcoin is still big power and very difficult to beat it..

Bitcoin is the back bone or grandpa for the altcoins out there, when the price of bitcoin drops so does the altcoins value as well, because we trader use bitcoin to buy altcoins across various exchanges. Bitcoin will always be the main currency for all the altcoins generations to come.

What do you comparison with this? USD or bitcoin?
I think the price of altcoin will go higher compare with bitcoin if the bitcoin price goes down. If compare with USD yes that the altcoin lower if bitcoin also lower.

I agree with you on that. Keep in mind the price stability of bitcoin ATM is dependent upon the fact that many of us need it to invest in altcoins. If a circumstance occurred that allowed instant trading and direct conversion from one altcoin to another, we would see an eventual overtake. I don't see that happening anytime in 2018. If federal adoption does occur in the near future, U.S. corporations would most likely invest in altcoins due to lower transactions fees, higher security, and more convenient liquidity options.

I expect that bitcoin is a crtptocurrency already and waiting for what next. Bitcoin has a lot of competency and they are the more attractive to those people here in bitcoin.

It is because of the increased market cap of many altcoins that is why bitcoin's dominance decreased. But did you take a look of how much dominance does each altcoins have? That 35% is still a great value. It is true that altcoins are very attractive today. But at the end of the day, people are holding altcoins to sell it for bitcoins at a profitable rate.

It people have only a limited capital, of course they'll for altcoins but for those having a huge capital probably they invested both bitcoin and altcoins. Investment really matters on prices, anyway of you are new in crypto I could suggest is to invest first with altcoins aside from it have cheap price it could be a starter for facing a big investment in the future.

Bitcoin cannot be easily replace by any altcoins even if they combine their price values as we can see the very huge price gap in all markets between bitcoin and altcoins. This crash is just the same dip that occur in the past years in which we thought that it was the end of Bitcoin but we are wrong because it bounced back in multiple folds in which we miss the opportunity to buy at the cheapest price.

Bitcoin to be the main currency may be realized, but it takes a very long process, you can imagine how difficult it is to summarize the many economic regulations of countries around the world that already have their own financial system in each country in the world. will be difficult but it can happen.

Not only is it that altcoins are attractive to people trying to get rich quickly, but there are so many new altcoins coming out and ICOs out there right now. People keep introducing more coins, and because of that, more money gets put into the altcoin market, and so the overall bitcoin dominance decreases. That doesn't mean that one altcoin is gaining more and more market dominance, but that the overall altcoin markets are doing better.

Sure, I think altcoins can do better than bitcoin, but bitcoin's original blockchain implementation has a lot going for it. For the next year at least, bitcoin will be the strongest coin on the crypto markets in my opinion.

This area is up for grabs! PM me if you're interested.

High fees = low BTC price

You can see it falling when you look at the transaction numbers for

BTC, ETH, Ripple

With all the forks this 21m numbers keeps doubling and Ripple has a crazy fixed number at 100bn
total and this coin cannot be forked because it's more private.

Well if you divide 100bn by 21m you get something like 4700 (top of my head) and
if you times XRP price of say $2.00 by 4700 then it comes out to $9,400 which is lower
than BTC price today but not by much.

I would say we have three crazy numbers here if you include BTC transaction fees and new
government regulations will push Ripple up unless we get our act sorted out or else it will be
set and match to the bankers

It's true that Bitcoin isn't going to be the main currency very soon but I believe that Bitcoin will be the largest platform for money market, If you see the volume of transaction of a single day then you will admit that Bitcoin platform will be the biggest money market in the future.

One thing you have to consider that Bitcoin is going to be a common currency in the future, Though it's a decentralized currency so that it will not be the number one but it will be one of the major currency in the future.

Market caps of other crypto currencies are on the rise and percentage of bitcoin's market cap in terms of total market cap might decrease. Bitcoin has been in a consolidation for past 1 month or so but I see it exploding to the upside soon and it will be much higher in the coming months.  Bitcoin will remain the most dominant crypto for foreseeable.future.

With more alt coins come into play, bitcoin's market share is gradually reducing. Bitcoin got hit due to its high fee and low transaction speed. It is still the leader now and hope it will server as store of value and keep top positions (if no 1). LN shall help reduce the fee and increase transaction speed.
