I bought bitcoin in BTC Markets 4 days ago. BTC Markets set the fee and you have no option to change them.

i don't know exactly how mining works, but is anyone able to help mine my unconfirmed transaction

It's a low fee, but isn't the lowest one I've seen recently. Either try a free accelerator or because you are willing to pay then pay a fee towards some paid accelerators. On this forum people will pretend to help you by accelerating your transaction when really all they did was add it to a free accelerator.
