Ethereum will pass 1K and reach 1.5K soon. This is for sure the year of the altcoins, many altcoins will increase a lot.
Tron will be the next altcoin to Ethereum, it has grow almost 300 percent this week. The powerful investors behind this altcoin will push the price up and Tron will be one of the most important altcoins in 2018.

I would guess Ripple will be the next real big one, especially if they are adopted as payment for some of these Asian banks or they get on Coinbase for example.
Electroneum has a lot of potential this year to see a real price increase but no way enough to overtake the big boys just yet.

If you mean a ethereum alternative, there is no such coin on the world. Ethereum is the only working one provided a platform to token sale projects which collected billions of dollars from the investors and venture capitals. The current price is nothing, the rest of the movement through $2500 is more significant. |

It will not be stable. I'm sure that soon the price of ETH looks 20-30 percent. Now just pumping prices. I see no reason for the price to rise and consolidate at a new level |

What is your definition of cheap? <$1, >$1, >$10, >$100? It will be apparently difficult for an under a dollar coin to rise to $1,000 within a year. It is most likely for over $100 coin to do so. The question then is $100 is not cheap coin. |

The truth I am quite surprised with that great growth that ETH has experienced,the holders must be some happy and others nervous I think,similarly I think the price stabilized there for months. |

There's an altcoin called NEO as of now it's like 100 USD but soon it may reach more than 1000 USD like Ethereum did. It's very promising and it has the potential to be a successful altcoin.

As of now, Ethereum's price came back to 900 dollars mark. I am hoping for more pumps this year, 2018, and less dumps. I have a few investment in Ethereum so I am really hoping for it to pump more and all the coins that are promising.

It is indeed good news for ethereum, hopefully this is the indication of a long term growth similar to bitcoin's, since ethereum is on the rise for the past few days it is still very uncertain how long this would go on.

I think Electroneum(ETN) is going to be the next big coin that will even surpass Ethereum. What it needs is the mass adoption of the coin. The $1000 crossing of Ethereum is a big indication that good things are on the way.
Electroneum is nothing compare to etherium because etherium is much more expensive and more popular. Most important etherium is more usable compare to electroneum. I think eth will never pass etherium. |

One of the DAG coins will probably make it big in 2018 - although some of them are quite big already. We are still waiting for a clear leader here, but once one is established and starts demonstrating real results it will probably be time for rocket gifs again. |
