These coins have been underdogs since like forever, now people wanted to promote this coin or should I say "pump" this coin to rounded prices like to a dollar or even more, the one like USDT but these coins have better value and better background than USDT. After the shady dealings of bitfinex people are looking towards alternatives. This has been one of speculations that is being discussed in the markets.

Ripple and Stellar have the similiar team and a Ripple founder has 1 billion Lumen, so I think both are related and they usually rise together.

Difficult what currently happens in the market. I basically expect the continuation of the rise, we experienced since mid of 2017. There was only a break, due to cash outs in December.

I think ripple was pumped at the right time and attracted a lot of other people to follow. But I'm also sure that the time of Bitcoin will come again.

This is not true. Stellar did spin off from Ripple. But they do not rise together. The reason stellar surged was due to the FairX news.

Current pumps wandering around ripple are speculative.. Basically people believe ripple's price will grow, they buy in for profits. This is not going to last forever. It will change in bear market.

Yes and no. They are both definitely due for a bit of a correction, but then again they could just rise up even more before correcting, and then today's price may be the good entry point months from now. The news on banking adoption has definitely fueled XRP's growth recently, although speculators probably do not realize that it is just banks adopting similar tech, not actually Ripple itself.

Stellar has been steadily increasing their presence so people will say this current growth is a long time coming. A lot of holders too, since it was an airdrop.

They are both definitely due for a bit of a correction, but then again they could just rise up even more before correcting, and then today's price may be the good entry point months from now. The news on banking adoption has definitely fueled XRP's growth recently, although speculators probably do not realize that it is just banks adopting similar tech, not actually Ripple itself.

Only 19% of XLM were airdropped and that too was years ago. Alot of people who got it either have already cashed out or has forgotten their keys to the wallet.

Simply because their demands is getting high each day. In the case of Ripple, this digital currency is backed by huge banks around the world and Ripple really served its purpose. Similar to Ripple, Stellar is also a digital currency that facilitates a cross-asset transfer which makes me think that both of them skyrocketed respectively.

All you mention above is mostly like fundamental or news analysis.
I can say the both two altcoin spike higher since there are big good events about that altcoin that can convince trader buying that altcoin to increase the demand.

FYI, ripple already adopted by majority of bankers in asia, But I don't know about western adoption. But as stated in so many times about the target of ripple to build interbank payment system.

Ripple is one of the few companies that is getting adapted by the real world banks and stellar is it's competitor which has a partnership with IBM .They will go even higher in time
