Hi. I am tired now, tried fixing my transaction today, but i feel incompetent.

I sent BTC from Bitcoin Core wallet to Coinbase, its been pending for 3 weeks. Trx id says 10  days and zero confirmations. But it has been pending since the 12th of december

If anyone can push it through it would be nice. I've tried the accelerators, but they are allways busy. I would be a very happy man if someone could help me out. Sorry for being a pleb..

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

the first tx is the child tx of the second tx
are you trying to make 2 payments in those txs?
why not abandon both txs, and create a single tx for the purpose
2 outputs for 2 payments in single tx Wink

You sound smart about these types of things!! Please help me.. I sent these 2 transactions 2 days ago and the fee was set to low.

I then tried to push them through by making this child pays for parent transaction with a much higher fee

Did I do this incorrectly? I feel like if I did it right, it would have pushed through my transactions by now.. PLEASE HELP!

I'm not sure if I possibly did something wrong, I tried

total size: 671 bytes, already included: 78643 sats
assuming current network fee is 500s/B then total fee should be around 335500 sats
hence your 3rd tx should have min 256857 sats as fee
that's how you calculate CPFP tx fee theoretically
you add close/high enough fee, lets hope avg network fee dropped
and all your three txs gets queued and included in the blockchain soon

Seems like you paid a very small transaction fee.
If you still have access to the wallet you send your bitcoin try the "replace-by-fee option", which is possible as long as the transaction is not confirmed.
check out this link https://themerkle.com/what-is-replace-by-fee/

You paid on average 340,5 Sat/b for grandparent, parent and child transactions.
So it will most likely confirm within 8 hours - 24 hours after you sent the transaction, according to https://estimatefee.com.

Ah, see I was under the assumption the "grandparent" transaction would go through in one block and push the other 2 through. So what you are saying, is that it groups all 3 together and their fees, meaning that im still at a below average fee and it still will take a while. Correct?

Thank you for the response. I think I'm finally starting to understand how this all works a bit

Yes, the child transaction have to cover the differences for your parent and grandparent transactions.
Because the miner will have to mine both the grandparent and parent before they can mine the child. So they will also check if the other transactions have enough fees, so it is as the name suggest Child-Pays-For-Parent. Your three transactions can be viewed as one transaction with fee of 340,5 Sat/b .

223 - 0.00033663
Managed to get one onto viabtc queue.

Doesn't solve the problem directly but with the CPFP you put together, you should have an avg sat/B of 434.8 once that confirms.
223 - 0.000448
225 - 0.0015
--
448 - 0.001948

edit:
looks like they went ahead and picked up the other two due to the new sat/B (502775).   saves you a few minutes.

I don't think you can cancel this transaction. The easiest way of dealing is just to wait till it goes through. I watched some videos on how to add some fee later, but the ways described there seem not to work anymore (btc was upgraded some time ago and now it's impossible). The only thing you might try doing apart from waiting is trying to broadcast the transaction, let people (miners) now that you need help with it. Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZSEPLpqNA8. I advice not to deal with other websites but the first part of this video is actually about blockchain and you might try that method.

It should confirm very quickly, after that you only have that child transaction to confirm.

Just accelerated the other one as well. The first one got confirmed earlier as well.
You can close this topic now, as the second one will confirm very soon as well.

The problem with this transaction is that it is dependent on this huge transaction 82c12079724478950b08c7e95a46dd21e95e88ed79583ec10b662c2cf3dd4efe that seems to be coming from some kind of service, like an exchange or online wallet or something, because of it's size and volume.

Responsibility of this transaction should be on that service for making such huge transactions with fees not big enough. If you remember from where you received 0.1 BTC to this address 342NGGYnhqu4m4ABocZGu9LAwwWogT6BCc, then you should ask them to use CPFP method or pay for acceleration.
It is not fair for a single user to bear burden of such huge transactions that involve so many other users.
