There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Im gonna do this right away at cgb.minar.cc (btw: how do i get the network hash speed from the client?)

Goes to the pool donation address:
Code:

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

Thank you everyone who has taken the few seconds out of their day to add this one line of text to their conf file! A very easy task that helps to secure the blockchain's stability.

The giveaway continues for others who do the same...
