It doesn't make sense, but then that's how it is with site wallets. Exchanges and other sites often change the number of confirmations needed before they credit your account, usually when the network is unstable, wallets are facing issues, forking events, things like that. If it showed up on Bitfinex then you shouldn't need to worry. Little else you can do but wait; it might help to alert support about it, giving them your tx ID and deposit address.
Not sure what you mean "with ViaBTC"... if you used Blockchain wallet and it shows up as confirmed on block explorer, then that's all there is to it. You can't change how the receiving party decides to credit you on your account.
