Every bubble can explode, but crypto for me is not a bubble so it will never pop and crash. Yeah sure some cryptocurrency will lose value, it because people lost interest in it. Even if bitcoin have a masive dump it will grow again.

I agree with this bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will most likely have moments of red market values and green market values and may even crash its value but it will eventually as it always do regain its original price and in case of bitcoin even increasing further more than the original.

Some people think it won't crash, other has been saying "tomorrow" for the past years.

But looking at the gains the last few months its hard to see this continuing for years to come. Can there be a long (3-6 months) bear market now to correct or is crypto too hot and will increase crazy up til implosion?

I'm thinking maybe 6-12 months of crypto craze left. Then crash (90% of coins loose 90% of value) and a few years of bear market before successful crypto projects starts making money. Pretty much .com again.

What do you think?
if you believe in that you should not join the crypto market because we all know altcoins cryptos will crash in the future so investing is just for investors have their bravery to invest in cryptos, so when we want to have profit we should take the chance to invest as soon as possible.

I do not think that in the near future the crypto-currency market could collapse. If bitcoin too quickly starts to rise in price, and then his bubble bursts, then this directly should only affect the bitcoin. Of course, the authority of all the crypto-currencies will indirectly suffer, but this will not be for long. Altkoins also this year should develop and grow in price regardless of the behavior of bitcoin. I hope that the coming year will bring a flourishing of the Altocines and they will only strengthen their position.

Guys right now it's easier and faster making money in crypto than robbing banks. This won't be forever, as much as I'd like my own money printer to keep operating forever.
I have a financial goal, when that's reached im 80% out of crypto and into stable investments. Regardless how much there is still to gain.
Hopefully the machine keeps running like this for another 6 months.

Probably we will see the end of useless ICO's at the end of year. Projects without proper planning or providing any real solutions will not make money any more. DOGE is just a symbol, there are hundreds of coins which pretend like it provides huge innovations but provide nothing. And they make millions of Dollars in months, it cannot continue like this anymore. I guess we will learn which ones will be survivors in this year.

I would not use the word "crash", but "correct". I guess this could happen any moment if Bitcoin's price will start another sharp upleg as many are expecting to happen soon.

I think the word " crash " is too strange. Better use word " correct " but however its same meaning.
Altcoin now is getting popular i can see it from any altcoin goes to moon with crazy moves.

You can never predict when will a certain coin will crash so better be ready. One thing I could think of to avoid projects is if you are active on social media and follows your favorite coin, then there's a good chance that you can grasp the developers opinion about that certain coin, if its doing good or bad.

Don't think it will crash, I just see a major correction happening soon, when? I have no idea. Could happen in a few days time, weeks or even a few months. Best to consolidate part of your position before it comes though.

It's people like you who're going to end up crashing crypto, if it happens. You see nothing in the ideals and principles of crypto, or even use of their technology and potential. For you, it is just easy money, grinding them and making more with each passing day. So of course, it won't last forever. Then again, I guess I can't blame you. This is the benefit of decentralization, and the curse of it. Hope you get your dreams, but I hope this crypto dream lasts a lot longer than my lifetime.

Altcoins market will surely bleed if BTC moves wild again,we doesnt have any time frame anything can happen in the market.

Your right, Obviously all altcoins will really decrease its value when the price of bitcoins increases because this altcoins are created to compete on bitcoins, That's why the value is synchronized. It is normal for every coin to be dumped because it only means that you should invest at that time and wait for its value to increase again, That is the concept of market to buy and sell.

Well, at some point a massive adoption of some of the coins will start and then probably others will loose it's value.

However, regarding the discussion about the "bubble", we are still far away compared to for example 2000-2002 Dotcom bubble.

The Dotcom bubble was 9.6 trillion. Cryptomarket is currently varying between 750 and 800 billion. While the market cap. it is huge, it is still more then 10x smaller then what the Dotcom used to be at the time of the crash. However, if we look at the current growth rate, it is fairly easy to expect that this point could be reached during 2018.

What will happen at the time it reaches it? Some panic will probably start to grow. However, the cyptomarket has a much higher potential then a Dotcom market. We are talking about substitute for all payments in the world. Look at this fantastic visualisation: http://money.visualcapitalist.com/worlds-money-markets-one-visualization-2017/, it says more then some figures could.

How much money is there inside the stock exchange market? 60 biggest markets have around 70 trillion market capitalisation. Will some of it start to move towards the crypto market? It already has.

So there is quite a lot of money in the world left to be poured in both Altcoins and Bitcoins, especially with trend being already moving towards digital payments (so more and more people can more easily join in).

Regarding the "correction" of the market, which is another thing, it already happened a few times and will keep happening, it is a normal trade behaviour with higher moves during the times of big volatiliy on the markets that are not yet mature. When will the next big correction happen? That I really don't know, I don't think nobody knows. It is usually depending on the FUD - some negative news. That can happen tomorrow, or after a few months..... What I do know is that as the market becomes more mature, it will be less prone to big FUD corrections.

Probably in 6 months to a year, and then things will stabilize. When everything becomes beyond expensive, people will stop buying and the prices will plummet. Then we'll see what is left standing and at what value.

"You see nothing in the ideals and principles of crypto, or even use of their technology and potential." How can you come to this conclusion? Based on what? The fact that I think the crypto market is extremely overvalued and will sell out before the crash so I can support my family?
Right now one could put a turd on the blockchain and market it as "the first AI-based turd for a decentralized future" and sell tokens for 1 million USD. Without working turd platform, just the whitepaper. Fucking TRON is valued at 10 BILLION USD without a product??? Cardano has a dream, a wallet and whitepaper, valued at 23 BILLION USD. It makes no sense at all.

Many hardcore enthusiast believed in the internet as well and went bankrupt. Them staying in the bubble for the crash didn't really help the development or themselves.
I don't day-trade or buy hype projects. I only own tokens I believe in long term. I spread the word daily about the crypto future and encourage my programmer friends to start learning about coding blockchain implementations.

But of course, you seem to be very eager to judge people so it doesn't really matter what I say.

We have been seeing patterns over and over again so I think it is a near certainty that the alt market will crash soon, just like it did in the spring/summer of 17. But it will just be a matter of time until we see our next big run.  I've got to believe that the alts have at least one big time left in them before we see massive market consolidation.

The market of altcoins can not die. This is a very big money and therefore such projects will be supported. Many people do not understand that now is the era of big changes in the world of finance, so the crypto currency is a new stage in the development of society.

Read an article the other day saying that exchanges are having ~100 thousand new registrations per day. If this is a bubble, we're near the beginning, not the end. I think it won't be until about August to November when reality kicks in for some of the worse shitcoins, at which time people will transition to the more stable ones (or just cash out)
