When do you think alt coin market will crash?

Some people think it won't crash, other has been saying "tomorrow" for the past years.

But looking at the gains the last few months its hard to see this continuing for years to come. Can there be a long (3-6 months) bear market now to correct or is crypto too hot and will increase crazy up til implosion?

I'm thinking maybe 6-12 months of crypto craze left. Then crash (90% of coins loose 90% of value) and a few years of bear market before successful crypto projects starts making money. Pretty much .com again.

I do pretty much think the same way as you do. I dont think that the current uptrend will last for a lot longer, its just not possible. But I believe that we still got some time to got before we see the market crash. Hope that we all will be able to find an exit point before this will become a reality.

This situation is possible but I highly doubt it will happen. Altcoin market is attracting more and more of the investors to its base. It has never been so big before as it is today. Many new investors are trying to gain profit from their investments. Many new people are also joining the community of the crypto traders and are learning about the altcoin world. In this state of the market crash will never happen. The only situation that can happen is the crash of the centralized money and the prevailing of the decentralized crypto market that is already implementing itself into every major company that is existing today.

I don't think it will crash soon. In fact, I'm pretty sure that altcoins will make a total domination in 2018.

Yes, some will fail, other will vanish, but the whole aaltcoin market will only grow.

Everything actually depends on pumping of market and how much hype there will be around altcoins.
When one of some trustworthy alt will crash, rest will be in chain effect.

No one know for sure when it is going to crash (I mean big, giant crash, that will kill the market for months). Everything depends of how hard is the market pumped and how crazy the prices will go. For now I think we are all safe, but if the market grow 9-10 time the current market cap, and is without any regulations, than I would be worry.

I want to believe we have another 2 years of alt coin gains before the ship starts to sink. When you look at it the total market cap is really not that high considering a global market and the technology adoption rate is still low.

Well the year of altcoin was just about to start. So I dont see any reason why it will crash. And if ever it will crash I think it will not happen this year. Im not an avid supporter of altcoin, but we cant deny that aside from bitcoin, we also earn from altcoin. Especially when you do trading, you can get a big income from it. So it will be also a loss to us, if ever altcoin industry fall down. That's why we should support this altcoin because we also benefits from it.

Right now one could put a turd on the blockchain and market it as "the first AI-based turd for a decentralized future" and sell tokens for 1 million USD. Without working turd platform, just the whitepaper. Fucking TRON is valued at 10 BILLION USD without a product??? Cardano has a dream, a wallet and whitepaper, valued at 23 BILLION USD. It makes no sense at all.

Many hardcore enthusiast believed in the internet as well and went bankrupt. Them staying in the bubble for the crash didn't really help the development or themselves.
I don't day-trade or buy hype projects. I only own tokens I believe in long term.

That is true, lots of things are overhyped, mostly because of greed, not belief. I also do believe that you need to invest traditionally - make fundamental and technological research and analysis, build portfolio, invest short, mid and long term. These days everybody wants everything short term and many people are here just because of a very high short-time return on investment potential. OK, let's be honest, almost all of us are partly, but for example I really do believe in technology and believe it can sort out many of the humanities problems, together with some other projects like equal money..... and that is the creation and allocation of money which made this stupid (or ingenious, depends on your angle) "piece of paper" the main cause of dividing people to poor and wealthy. Foor those greedy and wealthy out there I can say only one thing - what is this piece of paper worth on it's own?

You mention Tron and Cardano. But how about Dogecoin? It was a meme and the developer stopped developing the project in 2015. It has a market cap. of 2 bil. USD!

Personally I think the people that invested in bitcoin because of its bullish character will change to other crypto's. This time they will due more research about the technology behind it. Still I think the technologies will be overvalued by the market, because of the hype surrounding most crypto. However I don't think the total altcoin market will ever fully crash, it will have certain strong pilars, like ETH, LTC, NEO and maybe ripple, with other coins gaining insane momentum, only to see their value drop as people are devesting and reinvesting at new coins.

It's a meaningless question: of course, a lot o new cryptocoins will crash, actually, most of them.
But the market will evolve and survive with new coins. We only need to choose wisely

There will a crash, I know sure about it. Just don't know when.

I already wrote my opinion on the situation as a whole, but maybe I was wrong and the market of violas could really fall, but it's unlikely, all the same it's a bunch of projects. But if this happens, it will be a loss of the Century

I think it will last for a long time because there are more people are in. And they are the supporters of alts and there will also a lot of money which is the most magic thing in the world. It will also support the market of alts.
