Coins-e the best alt exchange

I am not in a position to comment on people losing money, it is never good and really not acceptable.

I can say that running these things, shops, exchanges etc it is immensely time consuming to keep up with all the coins and people "requiring this" or "forking that".  I am lucky enough that as soon as I see a "you need to upgrade" thread I can just turn the coin off for a few weeks until I can get around to making sure I am on the correct version.  I then need to search out the original thread, upgrade, re-sync etc it is real PITA.

FYI, no-one has NEVER EVER sent me an email for any off the coins I take warning me or giving me notice! As such I have disabled quite few today until I can check into them.

Also screwing up by accident is not a scam, and in reality users of these new coins should share the risk of using them along side the service providers.

edit: this is just my opinion and not in any way an endorsement for coins-e's services or practices.

So how long do you propose we wait? A week? A month? Cryptsy usually solves a ticket in under a day. If they realy wanted to set things right they would have sent the coins manually but since they have no coins, that's kind of hard.

No, last communication from them was on Monday. I am literally pleading them to respond but there is total silence on their part. I don't understand why they can't even inform us. They can just say they have troubles and will take some time but nothing. Almost feels like their attitude is to not respond and hope people will tire out and give up.

I am now extremely anxious as it seems there is a good chance that Coins-E won't be giving back my 12k PXCs. I don't understand what to so   Maybe I will create a separate thread tomorrow which will hopefully put some pressure on them. At least it will warn others about problems with Coins-E.

I went to their chat and met a guy who was vouching for the exchange. Anyways, he asked me to wait a bit and mailed them. I will wait for a day before starting a scam accusation thread here too if there is no response.

I met another guy there who lost 2.1k PXC too. How many have you lost? I am tallying the number. So far me, Scooby and that guy on Coins-E has lost 23.4k PXC.

I've got some ORB held up in a withdrawal from the exchange and I'm not happy about the lack of response to my complaint.

in a day when people are flipping over cryptsy and the lag they're having, I'd suggest you step up your game.
