A huge movement began under the leadership of Binance. ICO investments are no longer popular. There are now IEOs. And there are nice earning projects.

Yeah because of IEO, i think people will prefer buy it directly on IEO than buy later on exchange because the price can easily pumped when it listed on the exchange. It's different if we talk about ICO, i prefer buy later on exchange because the price usually fall under ico price.

If we talk about the exchange Binance, then yes, it is better to buy tokens on IEO, because after tokensale they will cost more. But if we talk about IEO on other exchanges that are less well-known, then maybe you need to wait until the end of IEO and see how the price will change and when it goes down to buy at the very bottom. With ICO, the situation is more complicated and I prefer to buy on DEX.

Both have their own advantages. Where if we buy coins in the ICO period or Pre ICO will be cheaper than the price when lounching in the market. Honestly, I see a lot of cheating on ICO, especially the price issue you mentioned always falls when entering the market, even though the project founder has some alibis about it, but I'm not sure they can raise prices according to ICO prices.

I think the best way to have cheap token with real value Is when gold proyect pay with their token dime Bounty before the ICO ends.. yo can buy them very very cheap in descentralized exchanger like forkdelta. That's at least help me out so Many Times. But the real value of the token ir really depend un how usefull Is really the token itself. Because this Is what hice the real value On Time of the token. The difference between IEO and ICO is that the former are "safer and guaranteed" by the exchange where they are made, whereas in the past with Ico you could have been scammed in 1000 ways (from the team to fake social media contracts); with today's IEO team, contract, white paper is analyzed first by the exchange that promotes and sells tokens.

The same investment gave good return to the investors, now things were different with increased competence on the same. Now projects need to be analyzed much to get the best profit in the long term.

The competition is getting tighter also, that's why less potential projects were left behind.

It's the hype in 2017 that brings a lot of money in the market, and because of that, lots of scam projects were also created.
After the bull run, they got tested by the long bear market period, and that results to some that did not survive and almost worthless now.

It seems to me that all the same attention needs to be paid to the fact that throughout 2018, when the market was accompanied by a large fall in cryptocurrency prices, everything was done by quite a large number of ico companies and their results were very negative.  Of course, with a few exceptions.  But this does not mean that these projects were very bad.  Thus, I can assume that there are a lot of good projects and promising coins in the cryptocurrency market, but they have no real opportunity to crawl out of the bottom of the cryptocurrency market.

Well maybe sometimes is better to invest on ICO or IEOs now but sometimes after reach exchange the price can drop and some of us buy on exchange. I also preffer to buy later on exchange.

The worst scenario is that when the listing on the market turns out the price does not match the ICO time, it will make me more disappointed. doesn't matter the project is good or not. Why you should buy from the ICO when you can get the double amount of coins at the same price on exchange? Buying from the ICO is not profitable at all! I did not see any ICO coin which price was higher than the ICO price since October 2018!

I think it depends on the project if it is a promising project's it is good to participate on ICO token sales. But when a project is lack on developments I think it is better to wait their token on exchange if they finally go in the market.
