is it profitable to buy a few cryptocurrencies and wait for them to hit the price?

of course, it's profitable because you have the opportunity to make a big money in the long term but you need to pick the right coin and doing some research before you buy. try to buy one coin only and do this with the medium amount and hold it for at least 3 months or 6 months and see what will happen later. I still trying to do this and now I think I can make a lot of money because I have many coins that I buy for more than 5 months ago.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Hi, I hold a few tokens of varied nature and a few coins. I have setup a few eth addresses for the younger members of my family. I am talking about kids that are less than 3 yr old   Wink So, what would you include in their new accounts, so that they can use it in 15 yrs?
Just use list of top 20 from coinmarketcap. If not all these coins will be successful after 15 years, definetly most of them will grow.  Smiley
agree but in just a matter of year you will see the significant grow
I suggest you all guys to buy TRX now as it dips at 700 -800 sats then keep it for a year and thank or give me some of uour earnings hehe.
It will definitely go to 1 or more USD . TRON TRX os a good coins
Also XLM XRP not so sure because of bankster thingy . SC XVG XBY DCN .goodluck to all of us guys

What advice to give you,as mentioned above in the previous numerous posts for you, actual purchase will be top 15-20 on coinmarketcap. But you really are taking too long term, in 15 years the world may change beyond recognition.

As you plan to hold so long time , I suggest you to choose the top 10 tokens based on ETH. Don't invest too much , don't just invest in one token .

Council for preserving the investment for a long time? Probably just forget about your investments and put a reminder to see in 3-5 years what happened to the project and what they managed to achieve, just a lot of patience and good memory

Wow, I think it’s really a great idea. You will have many chances for you to get a big profits from crypto currencies market  if you diversify your coins. Yep, you must spend time doing some investigations carefully to determine which coins have bright and potential future. To get safely, you should start with small, and then if the situation is good, you expend it. Most importantly, this crypto market requires a lot of risks, you should be more patient for investing a long term.

15 years is quite long, there are new competitive altcoins that appear each year and they competition is very serious. I suggest that you update your portfolio every 3 years, diversify if necessary. I suggest Bitcoin, Ethereum, NEO, Monero, Ripple, Stellar Lumen and XEM for long term and update it after 3 years.

There's no better coins that could offer you more investment value return other that to Altcoins.
You can refer Www.coinmarketcap.com and choose good coins or there and hold them for long term because they already in the top and it means they gonna increase the price after time.

What do you think would be hot in 12 years later? Put money into that.

I think the best choice of coins for these holding are those who belonged to atleast top 10 in the coinmarket cap or you may want to check their market charts history to have a glimpse on how they would go for years. I also suggest to have a back up files properly saved for their accounts because 15 years would be a very long wait and maybe put some instructions in there just so they will still know how to access it.

For that very long term holding, I think the best coin to keep is bitcoin. As we can see bitcoin has survived for more than 9 years and still staying strong and continously dominating the crypto market so I guess bitcoin will still exist and increase its value even after 15 years more.

Don´t get me wrong, I do have some bitcoin, but I think that Bitcoin is clearly loosing impulse due to the heavy competence from coins designed with the lessons learnt and better technical vision.

My long term holding advice is never to hold, if it means passing on an opportunity that could provide you with a better ROI when the opportunity presents itself. This is the biggest mistake many people make.

yes, the answer is always to research the coins that are worth to hold for a long term. although we cannot buy all of the coins, at least we can have from 5 to 10 coins in our account. and if you are afraid that the exchange is getting scam, I suggest to you to download each of wallet for each coin or you can use multi coins wallet so you can keep it in that wallet and not send to other exchange before the price increases highly.

I suggest you invest on coins toplisted in coinmarketcap specially bitcoin and etherium. Do not do one time investment, slowly add some coins maybe every 3 months. Research is the key to decide which coin to invest but since we are talking about many years to come, you can add more promising coins in the coming months and years. You may add certain altcoins or you may add another investment on you you have previously invested.

Wow! If you can really just stash and stash, more and more coins without moving them and there's no massive crypto crash and crypto becomes mainstream, your kids will be rich!

You'll be like those who bought bitcoin at $100-200 each a couple of years back.
