I allocated some of my funds 40% to elix , oyster perl , monero and ethereum classic . I think these are good for mid-long term investment . Still have 60% , you guys gave me new insights and i want to thank you all for that . I think monero has some great long term potential being one of the best anonymous coins (I can see there is high demand for these kind of coins in 2018) . I'm looking into XSPEC also , but i really hate dealing with cryptopia . I will study all of your suggestions these week(there are a lot) . As for ICO's i don't consider myself experienced enough to start taking risk in that category .

If you want a true profit like  x100 or more, you have to buy coins which are on less known exchanges and wait out.
(ITNS) Intense coin is one of them, i am holder of this coin and i strongly believe after it hits a larger exchange it will skyrocket. i got in on it then price was 30sat, recently it was at 420 ATH.
It is a privacy coin and  2018 will be about privacy coins. Devs are working on decentralized VPN client so the coin will have purpose.

Yes, have heard about the Japanese entertainment conglomerate DMM group setting up their own crypto currency exchange and they are said to support 7 cryptocurrencies BTC, ETH, XEM, XRP, LTC, ETC and BCH. Therefore, I will advice you to add XEM and XRP to the coin you already plan to invest in. Look closer at Espers. The project is very active past months and the coin is still cheap. According to their roadmap, 2018 will be huge:

$1200  that amount is good to buy different altcoins I suggest buy altcoin only who have less rice or cheap price like.  Waves coin,  taas,  komodo,  qtum,  and ripple this coin for sure gives you high profit in the future because this altcoin is potential coin . Ethereum just climbed on the 2nd spot crippling ripple so i'm sure i'm gonna invest some of my money into that , stable investment , growing day by day , but what impact will it have when they implement PoS ? Gonna put some money into that for sure , but not all of it in one basket as someone stated above .
