buying ethereum is a good choice but be careful as today the market is trying to getting increase and if you cannot analyze with good, you can get at the high price and makes you difficult to sell more high. ethereum will become bigger in the future and I also have my ethereum and still collecting more ethereum for my investment.

You are doing your own research which is quite good, instead of depending on others opinion. This is a decent amount for investment. The best option is to diversify your portfolio and invest in a few high potential coins. I would recommend you go for more established coins which is safer and profit is also good.
