I receive a notification from my Telegram account. I am not sure it is true or scam:

I logged in the website using my telegram account and get the details:
Current GRAM rates
GRAM / USD = $0.80
GRAM / BTC = 0.00007330
GRAM / ETH = 0.00096935
Current discount: 45% from base price

The status shows that 95% TON token has sold out (88mil /92mil)

I received the same "notification". It's a scam, not sure how they did it because it did look like an official notification. The site works without SSL (no serious company would allow that) and the footer in their white paper says "gramtoken.io" which is officially declared a scam; https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/news/breaking-telegram-ceo-officially-confirms-gramtoken-io-ico-fake/

Not sure what I think of this.  It's amazing how many users (especially in the crypto community) Telegram has been able to get.  That said, I hate using it!  It's hard to figure out how to do things, most of the groups are a mess, and I'm not sure it will end up justifying the amount of money they're raising in the ICO.

Just recently I heard that some oligarchs invested hundreds of millions of dollars in TON Telegram. To be honest, I was very surprised, considering what kind of Pavel Durov has experience of relationships with them. And it always seemed to me that after VK was captured, he goes the other way. I don't understand why he took this money from them. And does this correlate with such a decentralized project as TON? I would understand if in the closed round he took investments from vc, but why from the oligarchs?

Today, I found another one: http://www.tongram.io/.

What the F is happening???

Which site is the official site. None of the sites has contact details. Am i expected to invest lost of Money and hope maybe someday I will get reply??


 


And WHY are they not referring to the ICO on their site leaving room for SCAMMERS to scam interested investors?Huh

Those all sound like scam sites - I would be very careful going anywhere that isn't on Telegram's main domain.

Well of course Pavel Durov has not said anything about TON, or whatever it's going to be called, as it's just vapour-ware, it does not exist. If anyone sends ETH or BTC to a site that says it's selling TON will just lose there money to a scammer.

I thought the ICO had not yet started, agree with d above advise. always best to triple check and validate that website are the correct ones beofre participating in any ICO via the website

as far as i know, there is no ICO yet and they re talking with big investors for presale details

investors are very interested in telegram and i dont think there will be much left for crowdsale

so better everybody be carefull for scam sites who says they sell telegram tokens

Exactly, there was no reason for telegram to have its own crypto.  Its just rich people being even more greedy.  Guys I would stay far away from TON, they dont give a fuck about the community, only to get more money.
