Telegram ICO (TON) would be a good thing to revive this messy ICO market we're in right now. Hopefully it will get a lot of visibility and attention from media. The more parties support it the better.

I am fond of Telegram but Telegram unfortunately is not an ICO story. While conduction an ICO you need to face a lot of legal complexities. That's why Durov is selling out to venturers and hedge funds. I am sure it will be a brilliant project but I am not sure if I want to buy it when it hits the exchanges. The price will be too high and big chances for dump..

I think that it will be huge! And ICO will bring big benefit to all cryptocurrency industry.
The tone can be considered as the decentralized supercomputer and the system of transfer of values. TON which promises to be the Ecosystem similar to Ethereum, with applications, services and shop for digital and physical goods.
Durov-clever guy. I think, much of what has been planned, can occur.

Also their team have the greatest mathematician in the world that's right, but they also have big problems cause it might become blocked in Russia, and i don't think it's necessary to mention that a lot of telegram users are people from Russia. |

The project of Pavel Durov has a ready infrastructure and a huge user base. Because of this leaked Telegram ICO, many people got victimized by the fake Telegram ICO website. While it might be true that Telegram ICO would be the next big thing, we should be careful and thoroughly investigate if the news is true or just a scam.

I am actually waiting for this ICO. Telegram is being used right now as a medium for communication for every project but right now, it is creating its own ICO and I think it is a great thing for them

More obvious is to airdrop to users, over a period of time, with fiat exchange setup for on ramp and listings across the most the large exchanges. They have the people already and prominence to do all these. We dont really know what the coin will be or expected to do, other than raise money which they have already apparently done. I've always been of the view this would be for early round investors to exit instead of a conventional IPO, so the public will just be paying off someones investment. Whats the use case for a token within Telegrams existing app? |
