Witto is a clever scammer. I have to give him props for doing such a clever scam. It seems his RL name is Evgeni Agranat and he is from Israel. He gave me his  facebook and also msged me from it. So either that was him or him on a hacked account or one of his friends.

He wanted to buy 5 btc and had me transfer 5 first then persuaded me to send 4 more saying he nneded the bitcoins to complete a trade with someone else and he would pay me even more than they were worth. I must have been in the mood for gambling cuz even tho it was apparent that this was a scam I gambled on it and obv got burnt.

After stalling for 3 hours, I didnt hear from him again and he blocked me on skype and unfriended me on facebook.

He posts in this thread apparently selling torrent logins? lol

Anyway, Ive just learnt about escrow sites so lesson learned I guess.

Sorry about that. Copy your post and do one here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 with his nick and name (probably, fake/bought facebook account) on the topic. Post a link to blockchain.info of the transfers to his address and a scan of the conversation where he told you that the bitcoin address was his address. It might be good idea to post also all his email addresses, skype, etc.
Escrow is safe, but you can also read the rules to avoid being scammed: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=199658.0

The Rock Trading Exchange forges its order books with bots, uses them to scam customers and is trying to appropriate 35000 euro from a forum member https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4975753.0

Alex, that really sucks man,I know the feeling. Yeah man, escrow all the way,its worth the fee, trust me. No worries for the buyer and seller, and john k the mod here is a cool enough guy to do this service for a nominal fee. Again, sorry and hope you bounce back.

Successful Trades so far-
Haploid23,TangibleCryptography,FullLife,gigavps,imsaguy,superfastkyle,BCB,USD2BTC,astana,immukization,atc777,koukan exchange (awesome and fast service!!!!),DannyHamilton,Greendots, and escrow all the way through JohnK(Global Moderator/Grand Pooh-Ba) baby!!! (Now Dannyhamilton is my go to guy for escrow,he's a pro!)
