I have a 3.99 BTC transaction that has been stuck for 8 days.  When I sent it, I forgot to increase the fee.  I understand that blockchain.info does not support RFB and so I don't know what to do.  This is a lot of money and I really can't lose it.  Can anyone tell me what I can do?  The transaction ID is 1KVsQUaaiDLrj5DCL3GTjpCr3XFULmu5Ro.

Can you add a CPFP fee to the transaction? Depends on the wallet you're using, but that'll do it every time.

Got you covered.
The pending tx for that address : bdbf3d07a4f8272f7695d2aa5a5bc244534d515d315f846ec9f3a71b4bffcc87
was accepted onto viabtc's free acceleration queue.
They should have that unstuck for you on their next block.

Thanks for your help.  I also found that CPFP functionality is also not available on blockchain.info.  That's the last time I'll be using that wallet.  Again, thanks for your help.

Sorry to say it's still stuck.  At this time, there are 0 confirmations.  Is it too soon to be checking?

Don't know how viabtc works now but see how it goes, it says "Transaction has been confirmed".
You can search other free accelerator services as well. Sometimes rebroadcasting same tx again and again from different channel also help to accelerate them.

That's odd.  I was checking on blockchain.info and it still says unconfirmed.  I'll give it a couple hours and see what happens.
Thanks,

Not too soon, but too soon at the same time.

Visit here to check for their next block:
https://blockchain.info/blocks/ViaBTC

They average about a block per hour, but haven't found one in the last 5.
It happens occasionally, averages.

you won't lose it. soon or later it's either confirmed or returned to you.
other than acceleration, you can do CPFP or try double spend tx

When the websites say to enter the raw transaction, where can I get that?

I just figured it out.  I just did this "https://blockchain.info/tx/9021b49d445c719106c95d561b9c3fac7bcb3650db67684a9226cd7fa1e1c1a0?format=hex", with the value 9021b49d445c719106c95d561b9c3fac7bcb3650db67684a9226cd7fa1e1c1a0 being the transaction ID.  I looked around and found it really isn't clear, but doing this worked.

Included In ViaBTC Block
503386 ( 2018-01-09 20:01:56 + 11,880 minutes )

no block for 10 hours huh.   i suppose it's normal that even big pools suffer from bad luck variance.

you're all set otherwise.
