What happened::
I made this thread for trading BOScoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2696575 upon user coinjack1337 PM'd me next message:
"Hello & greetings from germany,

i would like to sell 1500 Boscoin for BTC. Is your offer still valid? I'm ok with your price.

Please let me know if you're interested.

kind regards,
Daniel"

My initial offer on the thread was 0.2$ for 2k boscoin, so for 1500 this would be 300$.
We agreed upon ETH which totaled to 0.264 ETH at the time (sunday evening around 9pm gmt+1 ) , I even invited him to telegram where his handler is  @N0ssi99.
After I send him the eth (tx) he replied :
'okay, i will send back now. thanks for the smooth transaction!' upon which I replied back (hoping it would be smooth...). I haven't heard back anything yet for over 24hours now since he received my ETH and I really think that only in case of some emergency, I think I have been scammed.

Nothing worthwhile, could make printscreens but don't think they'll add much value (will do upon request, just busy atm and I don't really have time for these scamming *********...)

You should have used escrow! This is what happens when you relax your guard for even a moment and send coins upfront. Scammers don’t sleep. They work here on 24 hr shifts. If they do sleep, another scammer takes over and looks for victims to target. They will scam just about any amount, even a day’s worth of food.

You sent coins upfront despite his horrible trust rating?

One of the reasons behind the success of these scams is because scamming is a piece of cake for these criminals. People make it easy for them to do it.

Please use a trusted escrow the next time you trade with anyone.

The problem here is that the negative trust rating were all in the "untrusted feedback" section, hidden by default for users. Trust = 0 under profile and no "trusted feedback".
Always check trust by clicking on it under profile name, and ckeck also untrusted feedbacks. In your case, many were already scammed buying him some altcoins, so this should have warned you about the kind of user he is.

I left feedback to warn others, certainly not a trustworthy account, people unfortunately do not seem to learn that an escrow is the safest method here.

yes I know I should have used escrow and and but well, I guess I just wished we could have more trust in the average honesty of at least fellow bitcointalkers but yes I tend to be too gullible... Its not the eth as much as the scam or dishonesty that upsets me... Probably some XRP douchebag anyway lol

just a fair warning for everyone to be contacted by this person
