I think you are confusing in myetherwallet. It is one of the best wallet. It should not affect easily in the digital world. This is one of the more secured wallet. This is the most familiar in all over world. It is not attacked in the country. Because majority of the competitors is used in this wallet. Once it will affect all over the world should be suffer. So try to avoid these types of thread.

Maybe what you mean is your myetherwallet was attacked by hackers in short hacked. If this is what you mean be careful on your wallet. Don't try and try to open it. Check the URL if correct, check your wallet address if not counterfeit. Few days ago I experienced the feelings of being my wallet got hacked.
I think this is not the right place to post this kind of topic.

This question literally makes zero sense. How would a wallet be attacked in specific countries? People from all over the world use this wallet. It is not country specific, nor would attackers/hackers be able to tell what "country" wallets they were "attacking" were "from." Are you even slightly aware of how blockchains and wallets work?

Do you mean got hack ? AFAIK, MEW is vulnerable for being attack by hacker because most people especially who still new in cryptocurrency world , still not fully understand MEW technical things. ~Experience is best teacher

I don't think the information you presented above is true, to attack a wallet can be done from anywhere, though some countries are likely to be more vulnerable because of the high number of citizens of the country involvement in the space than others

The claim was that the myetherwallet.com DNS was compromised in specific regions, so yes, it could be country specific. The claim is bull$hit, but of course you should always be downloading MEW from github rather than through the .com

Its pure FUD. The FUD originates from their rival Ethereum BLUE (BLUE). They are maliciously spreading false news on their twitter account about the said hack but MEW quickly deny it. So you don't need to be worry about your tokens or your ETH on your wallet. I actually did test drive and login to my account (my account with small funds) and see if the news is true. However, I was able to navigate and see my funds still intact. If you are still unsure, here's is MEW official twitter account. Just check and you can actually post questions. https://twitter.com/myetherwalletI also used that strategy whenever there's some negative news that is going on. I check their official Twitter account and see if its fake news or not.

There is no attack, it is just a case of phishing, people are uploading there private keys on fake links and hence are deprived of their funds in the original wallet.

All the FUD that has been created about MEW has already been cleared, it all was Fud and they all were huge LIES. my ether wallet is safe enough if you are not exposing your private keys, that is it. If you are using a hardware wallet + mew, you wont have any issues at all.

I still consider MEW not safe, if you are using the private key method.
Safer option is either Chrome Addon(eg Metamask) + MEW , or as mentioned above Hardware Wallet + MEW
Though no one can protect you from human error from your end.

MEW wasnt attacked as far as I know. You probably confusing this with an attack because someone who got a victim of a phishing site lost his funds. Ive read something like this many times already. The victims of those attacks are often blaming MEW for their failure to click on phishing links.

It is not hacked and I think my ether wallet is the best ethereum wallet and its creators seems like very smart people. I test it always with fake wallet before using my wallet with coins.
