I particularly have these in my portfolio for HODL:

1. HAT - Due to the kind of project it is(P2P Exchange like localbitcoins that will support tokens and other coins as well not only Bitcoin) + Low supply
2. Substratum - I like their concept, I can see big growth in coming days.
3. Accelerator - Low Supply + Concept of mining from renewable energy sources is awesome.
4. UTrust - Similar to concept of Paypal service, if they are able to deliver what they are looking for. We can see the boost in UTrust price soon.
5. Ethereum - Platform with 100s of tokens, never gonna disappoint us.
6. BTC - Never gonna exclude it from my list, no matter where it goes in future.

I prefer invest to Ethereum, Ripple, Doge, Stellar and Bitcoin if for long term. but if you want to make a profit quickly, you can go to altcoin which is now successful with the sale of ICO and also has a lot of community. I see there are 2 successful ICOs and after entering the exchanger, the price rises 10x from the ICO price ... I see ETHLend and Utrust are good enough for investment...

Sonm is by far the biggest sleeping giant out there, it can easily still go x30 from here on out. Other than that, I firmly believe in Stratis (could overthrow Eth so x50), Datum (very young but massive potential, I could see it end 2018 at 2$ at least (x20) and 5$ in a few years, Adbank is also very promisable but still in ICO phase there's a ton of potential (ICO price is about 1/30.000th of ETH, so about 0.03$). I think it could easily get to datums level, so investing in the Adbank ICO should give you a shortterm profit of over 300%; longterm I think Adbank could grow to 1$ as well (x30 easily)

I am expecting very much from ICON(ICX) and Stellar Lumens, their prices increased in last months but their potential is much more higher than now.

Right now I'd say...

POWR     - PowerLedger - they have a REAL business model and are winning lots of international contracts)
WAVES   - One of the easiest cryptos/clients to use, fully functional mobile aps and a great ICO platform)
QSP        - Quantstamp smart contract auditing platform is likely to be huge this year)
WTC       - Walton coin is way undervalued. The team is a little behind schedule, but have a rock solid and fairly unique proposition (RFID tags)
TRADE    - Trade.io just wrapped thier ICO, token launch next week, and can be staked in their liquidity pool to earn daily rewards

1. XLM - Stellar: By far the best coin. I will be holding till 2019 if not longer
2. XVG - Verge : What a ride this coin has been. But I am pretty sure it has a bright future. (This coin has a lot of hate out there)
3. SUB - Substratum: Just got in. But I am glad I got in now than later. I feel it will be a good year for SUB
4. ENG - Enigma: Who can doubt a strong MIT team that already has a sound project  and collaboration
5. XSPEC - Spectrecoin: Another privacy coin but seems to have given me good returns. Might hold longer than I think

Any coin/token that has a legitimate team and mission is worth holding onto at this point, because the market is shallow now and will only grow deeper (many new adopters don't even know what a wallet is yet)
