I have mocked up 3 icons for the coins. They might need some more work.

The third one is nice, I like it.

Question: Why does the client use IRC to gather IP addresses of other users? There's bound to be a better, non-centralized way to gather this sort of information. This just looks a bit too much like a botnet than I'm comfortable with. If this could be explained, I'd be happier about using my resources towards this coin.

This is very interesting.

Are there any bounties for logos or gfx work?

Thanks Smiley

I believe IRC is the way most coin wallets find each other.

This is a nice icon, although doesn't seem very "bounty". Feels more like a "ET Coin", the graphic in center looks like crop circles. Anyway, bounty send!

The "logo" is the icon, you can post your design of BountCoin's icon, like others who already did.

Ok...Are there any requirements or theme you want to go with on the design?

I will start work on a submission! Smiley

Nothing particular, just be "bounty" and it's a "coin" Grin

Bounty received! thanks mate. Yeah I tried a couple of designs with 'bounty' on but none of them looked any good. Couldn't find a decent font so just made a symbol instead. Appreciate the coin though  Wink

I have setup a Bounty Coin STRATUM PPLNS Pool and its working fine, so you are welcome to join and spread the network hashrate.

I have set pool fees to only 1%, 40 block confirms for fast payouts, and only 0.01 BOC payout fee to pay the actual transaction fee.

boc.minar.cc

Start your miner using the following parameters:
URL:stratum+tcp://boc.minar.cc
PORT:3339
USER:username.worker
PASS:workerPass

Sample command-line:
   ./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://boc.minar.cc:3339 --scrypt -u username.worker -p workerPass

Please let me know if you find anything out of normal, comments and suggestions also welcome!

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

STRATUM POOL IS UP  Grin

EDIT: You can also add
Code:
addnode=boc.minar.cc
to the nodes list, will be up 24/7 like the pool

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

I registered, but can't login, says the pool will be back asap. Please do!! With the network hashrate now it's really hard to find a block.
