I think it's unfortunate that freedom host was brought down, I was using Tormail myself and OnionBank could really have taken off due to the reputation of freedom host. Now that he is in jail I guess the source code won't be released. And even if, who else could take on the project? The only one with similar reputation would be the owner of Silk Road I guess.. and I'm not sure we want someone who is running illegal business to also run a wallet service.
They even have specially developed trojans for dropping CP on computers in order to have a target incarcerated and discredited. Could there possibly an easier, more efficient, risk fee way of removing opposition?
Source? I've been waiting for something like this to really take off. Minimum sentence of 10 years per image is no joke. It would be hilarious if someone in the US started planting CP on the PCs of politicians and government officials, they would rot in prison literally for the rest of their lifes - all thanks to their own laws.
