It would be fun to see an historical chart with Bitcoin vs real things rather than just other money.
A while ago somebody posted a thread with graphs of BTC vs XAU prices. I suppose there is some metric they use for inflation, a sort of basket of commodities that you could chart? I was on medication when I wrote that. It seemed like a much better idea then.  |

I would trade one bitcoin for: - A box of See's chocolates.
- A 24 pack of beer.
- A pair of cheap shoes.
- Dinner at a midrange chain restaurant.
- A game of mini golf for 2.
- A round of paintball for 2.
- A tour of some tourist destination for 2.
- 3 or 4 1940's-60's silver quarters.
- 3 or 4 dozen eggs.
- 3 or 4 months of web hosting.
- ~4 gallons of gas.
- 2 hours of my labour.
Why? Cause I can always buy more at a similar price. I want to buy everything in btc! |

Thanks for stating the obvious. The point of this thread is to say what people would be willing to pay for it at this particular time. Thus the responses have and will continue to vary as time goes on. |

Good luck with your USD storing their value, Go spend them while you can! Or, if I want to use the money as savings, I can just convert them to bitcoins. That's the nice thing about having exchanges, if I earn USD I can convert them to bitcoins, or if I want to pay somebody who does not take bitcoins yet I can convert my bitcoins to USD. |
